Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is very relevant, apt, useful, helpful to the engineering students. It is very modern and is updated to be up to standards of the ever fast moving technology. It needs to be organised to reduce burden on a specific set of days.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is worth of paying it.Because the facilities we available here are more worth than the fee we paid. The fee each semester almost remains same. There are also options like scholarships, full fee remission, half fee remission for certain categories and reservations.fee in the sense tution fee.We just have to pay for the mess and hostelif you are having any resevation.Almost every branch in the IIT HYDERABAD HAVE same feeling struc ture.I am having ews and income below one lakh so I am paying 45000 per semester almost like that SCHOLARSHIPS: 1) National Scholarships 2)Reliance scholarships And many like that.

Campus Life

5

The campus of Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is very modern and infrastructure is beautiful and accessible. Campus Life is very inclusive and the social life is amazing. Getting to meet people from different places with different views of life is exciting All the tech and sport facilities are top notch

Admission

The reason for selecting this institute (Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad) out of all the other options was the modern technology and growing reasearch possibilities and encouragement to students to start up their compainies.

Faculty

5

The faculty is very cool that they become friends of students and explain each topic in a very understanding way that topic gets embedded in our mind like milestone. But there are some faculty who are somewhat non interactive and angry but we can manage it with a sensible listening and doing assignments properly.Coming to the exams.IITH is having a different pattern of conducting exams which is student friendly .Here each semester is divided into 6 segments. We have a courses of different number of credits.where each credit course have a span of 2segments.If it is one credit course there will be 1 assignment during the course teaching and 1 exam just immediately after the completion of course. If it is 2 credit course there will be 2 or 3 assignments and two exams one at middle of the course and one end of the course. For the exam at end of course only the topics after the mid exam will be given. For most of the courses the grading will be relative.

Night Life

5

Nightlife is amazing here at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad The canteen stays open pretty late and is an amazing hangout spot No restrictions on staying in the hostel and best of all no curfew so it's the best we can ask for.

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.
