Iith provides you teaching from the best teachers who are well qualified.
Students in our college gets internship opportunities in their third year.if they performed well in their internship,the company provides preplacement offers before completing their engineering.many best companies like google, microsoft, wipro, tcs, etc come to our college to hire students.
Hostels are great here, there are groups of 6 or 8 rooms forming one pod which helps in mingling better with other students.

Dislikes

I disliked the professor very much, the are very bad in teaching
Sometimes the faculty of my department (mathematics) were hard to deal with.
The professors are two strict not even giving exam paper in advanced range.

Likes

I like the hostel blocks and their design
And the class timings are comfortable for each and every student
Infrastructure curriculum and academics.

Dislikes

Common bathrooms are provided 8 people called as pod
Professors are not student friendly and they are rude
Canteen is so far from our hostel blocks whereas in top 7 iits there is a canteen in the ground floor of hostel blocks

Placement Experience:

The top companies such as Google Amazon Flipkart etc visit IIT Hyderabad every year. The highest package of the year 2024 passout batch is 1.6cr and still going. Almost 80% - 90% people will be placed.

The academics are also good as our institute follows fractal academics.
The sports are also encouraged in our college.

Dislikes

The college management do not give enough funds for cultural activities
Also we face water and power problems quite frequently

Placement Experience:

The placemets are still going on thus year, it takes place through two phases. The highest package was 1.6Cr this year and the average is around 15LPA. The percentage of stude gs placed has been slightly decreased this year due to recession but is going on a good pace.

Biggest sports complex is in our IIT Hyderabad
Single rooms per person and mess food good.

Dislikes

There is no trees and greenery in our college
Common bathrooms are provided instead of separate bathrooms
There is no big canteen.fees is more compared to other iits

Likes

Infrastructure and academics and curriculum.
Mess Food and hostel life and sports complex
More free time and fractal academic system

Dislikes

Trees and greenery are very less on campus.
Some construction work is still goingon on campus.
Common bathrooms are provided for 8 people.

Placement Experience:

In 2023 placements the highest packages 1.6 crores. 2022 the highest packages 67 lakhs I guess. Package in 2020, 21lakhs . Google, Amazon Microsoft, Zomato, Oracle ,Goldman companies visit IIT Hyderabad every year.

The best campus if you can get engineering science here

Likes

The food is awesome in our campus. The canteen food is also good
The hostels provide radiant cooling during summer.
The infrastructure is top class in our campus.

Dislikes

There is no proper library in our campus even though we have a big building for library
The sports grounds for hockey and football are not good
There are no big trees in campus for shade

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester are eligible for placements. Companies like google, Amazon, Microsoft, serviceNow, jio, etc have visited. Highest package is more than 65lakhs and average package is around 20lakhs. My plan is to become an IAS officer

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like mechanical engineering and aero engineering and aero club and department will surely be there for helping me. Faculty are all PhDs and from reputed institutes in India and US. Term exams are fairly difficult.

Likes

Campus Life is very nice infrastructure is brilliant.
Fractal academics provides free time for students.
Hostels have Radiant cooling system. And good mess.

Dislikes

Construction is still going on, so dust is present.
Trees are very less and yet to grow. Less Greenery
Campus is far from Hyderabad City. Transportation takes time.

Placement Experience:

Placement season journalist starts in 7th semester of the BTech. Good amount of companies visit the campus every year and the average packages go up to 21 lakhs per year. Highest Package of this year is 1.6 crores per annum.

Likes

I liked that there is an active coding culture in the campus.
I liked the sports facilities in the campus.
I liked the faculty, they are generous and helpful.

Dislikes

No availability of branch change option.
Under Construction Buildings everywhere.
South Indian oriented menu in the mess mostly.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our institute happen in the third year, specifically, it start in the middle of the 7th semester. Almost all the major companies visit for the placements. In the last year, overall 85% of students were placed. The highest Package was 1.8Cr and it was a quant. role.

Very Nice

Likes

Infrastructure is very good and has very unique design for every buliding inside the campus.
Mess is good enough to fees your hunger in good sense.
Faculties are also very good and ecperienced

Dislikes

infrastructure is under development and it will take some time
sometimes some emails got spammed even if it was a good demand

Placement Experience:

Good placements are there but due to recession a less no of students got placed due to which everyone get affected. Many comapnies are invited by the campus. My plan is to take placement. Average package is quite high for our iit due to very good relations with japan.

College Life of a student

Likes

Hostel rooms, class rooms, we dont need to get permission to go outside we can approach any professor regarding projects for advise and study and live is good we can have some quality time with friends and can make memorable moments in anual fests
Hostel rooms and infrastructure we can move freely in college
We can approach any professor regarding projects

Dislikes

Mess food it is some times too worst but some times ok
Occasionally we get lan problems results in work stopage
Dust is too high and due to near by factors bad air smell

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. Regarding the details of highest and average package as per company and profiles offered it is mainly got by CS students around 60lakhs

Although every department of IIT Hyderabad offers top-notch education, it’s the EE department that steals the show. There are many unique aspects of this department that make it one of the most coveted branches of IIT Hyderabad.

The fractal academic system is a unique feature of IIT Hyderabad that sets it apart from other IITs. You have no choice but to work hard and excel in all subjects. There aren’t mids and ends in every sem instead you have monthly quizzes to evaluate you regularly.
There are many other strategies adopted to make the students work hard. For example, surprise quizzes in almost every subject are taken. These quizzes require the students to prepare before and after every class and also be regular to classes.
The EE department helps convert theory to practice through a number of projects.
