Fees and Financial Aid:

IIT Hyderabad offers a number of proggrams with different fees. Tuition , hostel , mess charges are the main. Btech programs tend to be costlier than Mtech and PhD programs. Total fees for first semester of Btech is 1,63000rs in which 100000rs is tuition fees and rest fees include hostel , mess , and other charges. 2 semester onwards fees will be 143000rs. For Mtech , regular candidate fees is 53000rs. For detailed distribution of fees , you can visit IITH website. Scholarships in IITH are : Family income less than 1 lakh rs then 0 tution fees , if family income is under 5 lakh rs then you have to pay 1/3 rd of tution fees . There is also merit based scholarship for which you will get mail by IITH after taking addmission.

The fees for the hostel are a bit more than other IITs but the mess fees are reasonable. There are plenty of scholarships for women, physically handicapped, and EWS. They will even provide free laptops for 4 years for EWS students

We have 200000 fees per year which is one lakh per semester. and we have enough opportunities to avail scholarships like buddy4study, LIC HFL Vidyadhan scholarship, etc. The only thing is students should check their emails regarding the scholarships and avail the opportunity. One should not show negligence here.

for a general student like me without any scholarship first year the fee is 3,10,000 including tuition, mess, hostel, and exam fees. next 3 years it's around 2,85,000 per year. About financial assistance when a student buys a cycle he gets around 3000 back from the hostel office.

The fee is quite high also they are increasing fees of hostels as well as tuition fees. As IIT Hyderabad is a growing IIT a lot of construction and development is going on our IIT, therefore, the college requires money so there is a hike in fees for hostels and tuition fees. I didn't get any scholarship and financial assistance and job till now but many of my friends who have reservations are availing scholarships.
