Biggest sports complex is in our IIT Hyderabad
Single rooms per person and mess food good.

There is no trees and greenery in our college
Common bathrooms are provided instead of separate bathrooms

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in engineering science department first we have to learn courses from all the departments, after 3rd semester we can do a specialisation in a particular branch based on our CGPA , or we can continue in the engineering science branch.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are available in fifth and 6th semester. Two types of internships one is summer and other is semester long internship. Summer internship is for 2 months and semester internship is for 6 months.

Placement Experience

In 2023 the highest packages 1.6 crore. In 2022 the highest package was 67 lakhs. The average package in 2022 is 21 lakhs. 80% to 90% students got placed in 2022. 2023 the placements are still going on in 2024

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for open an OBC is 3 lakhs per annum where for SC and ST 100000 per annum. For Oc and OBC there is a fee remission for those parents in is less than 5lakhs. There will be NSP scholarship through Government and approved by our college

Campus Life

The infrastructure of IIT Hyderabad is one of the best infrastructure in second generation IITSs. Hygiene is maintain in our hostel blocks. There are 19 hostel blocks in our college. There are so many clubs in our IIT Hyderabad which selected through an interview.

Hostel Facilities

Our hostel blocks are designed by a Japan technology. In 1st year there are two two people sharing one room from 2nd year we got single room. There is no AC but there is radiant cooling system provided by our college in our rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

We had to write JEE mains exam and qualifier for writing JEE advance exam then I qualified for advance exam and participated in the josaa counselling and then I got IITH Hyderabad IN 1 ROUND then I locked it.

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF IITHYDERABAD

I appiled for vit and emcept but main goal to join iit, no i dint get rejection in any colleges i got admission in every college but i didnt choose because of my dream college. In iits we get very good and merit people and we get more free time and time to study ourself and learn things by ourself. We have a lot fests at least for a month we enjoy a lot and we have a lot of resouces to get knowledge and good faculity. The only one eligiblity for our college is to write jee advancee and mains . First for mains more than 14 lakhs people write and in that 14 lakhs 2to 3 lakh people slected for advance. And 23 k people will select fot advance the cutoff will be like we should get 95% above for mains but we dont know for advance they change for every year.
