Likes

Iith provides you teaching from the best teachers who are well qualified.
Students in our college gets internship opportunities in their third year.if they performed well in their internship,the company provides preplacement offers before completing their engineering.many best companies like google, microsoft, wipro, tcs, etc come to our college to hire students.
Hostels are great here, there are groups of 6 or 8 rooms forming one pod which helps in mingling better with other students.

Dislikes

I disliked the professor very much, the are very bad in teaching
Sometimes the faculty of my department (mathematics) were hard to deal with.
The professors are two strict not even giving exam paper in advanced range.

The reality of IIT Hyderabad

Likes

Architecture of the campus are mind-blowing it's one of the finest art
Sports complex are too good and it's architecture.
Teachers are very helpful and supportive

Dislikes

Mess food donot reach to my taste I missed it.
Club culture are also poor. People are going in it by recommendation
Students interaction are very less due to small hostles

Placement Experience:

From 7thsemester you are eligible for campus placement. All the companies are visited approx 100 companies come for campus placement Average packe 17-18lac . Highest packege 60 lakh. Going to the best company.

Rivew of IITH

Likes

The construction and architecture of the campus is really beautiful.
The continuous assessment leads to less overall pressure on students mental health.
Sports complex is very well structured with all the necessary equipments.

Dislikes

Almost half of the campus is under construction.
The campus is located outside the main city.
Food quality is bad considering the North Indians in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose it based on my rank in JEE Advanced. There were only 8 students in my branch as it was the first time being introduced to IITH. Faculty are well qualified and are very supportive. The exams are very easy and grading is easy too.

Studied at IITH for 2.5 years.

Likes

Constructions and design of every blocks.
Continous assesment and easy grading for courses.
New sports complex which include dedicated courts for every sports.

Dislikes

Overall intractions between studens in hostels.
Half of the campus is under construction.
Foods are sometimes bad for North indian students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I find the department interesting which includes courses from Computer science department, Electrical and Electronics Department, Some courses from mechanical also. Student : Prof :: 2:1 PHd or more.

Life at IITH

Likes

Continuous assessment of the course makes it very easy to score and less burden.
Double Major option provided that the CGPA of the student is good enough.
Very beautiful campus and hostels with modern architecture.

Dislikes

Currently under Phase 2 of the construction
Lack of funds in clubs which doesn't bring up enthusiasm for big projects.
Food Quality seems bad for the North Indians

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose it based on my rank. My branch was a new branch with only 8 students (6 boys 2 girls). Faculties are well qualified and taught rigorously. It was really easy to pass every exam over here at IIT-Hyderabad.

IITH ..know from a student

Likes

I liked the sports facilities because I am personally a sports and fitness lover.
We got a free cafe ,where you get free coffee or fruit juices everyday twice.
The courses are also well organized and faculties are friendly and worth time spending

Dislikes

The thing that I would like to mention is lack of funds that's why our fest doesn't reaches its height as is expected of an IIT
The campus is not complete yet.It will be completed by 2030 expected

Lots of faculty are available. The course is well organised.In the first semester you get to attend common lectures that is for everyone.And later on the classes become more and more branch specific. You also get chance of taking minor or major at 3rd year.

Life at your college

Likes

I liked active night life and campus life.
I like fests and opportunities to build yourselves
I like amazing buildings and there structures

Dislikes

Only the thing that my college is in under construction

Placement Experience:

Our campus placements is good.The highest package for last year is 68 lpa with the median of 22 lpa and average 18 lpa.The placement is about 99% or more. I think most of the big companies like Google, Microsoft,etc are come here to give offers.

Experience of IITH

Likes

Mess food is quite good because of its versatility which makes It eatable
The new sports complex is one of the thing I liked in the campus
The canteen is also a good place where we will get the things we require

Dislikes

I disliked about the timings of canteen it is open only till 1am
I disliked that the campus of iith is far from the main city around 40km which makes it hectic to go and come

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in later semester of there academic program from the 6th semester usually. The highest salary of a during the placement was 65 lakhs per annum and the average salary was INR 20 lakh per annum a total of 781 students registered for placement out of which 666 were placed 141 companies participated in the placement drive and 586 students received offer including 46 international office the number of companies that visited the college increased by 2% as compared to the last year. My plans after getting a degree is to go in business field to do construction business

An overview of Indian Institute Of Technology Hyderabad

Likes

Infrastructure of IITH is very good and very asthetic.
The campus is very green, it feels refreshing.
Hostels are good with good facilities and design.

Dislikes

IITH campus is very far from Hyderabad. It is quite difficult to travel to city.
A lot of construction is going on currently.

Placement Experience:

In-campus placements are offered in IITH. Students become eligible for placements after the third year. Approx 350 companies visit IITH for placements. Around 60 lacs is the highest and the average is around 22 lacs. Approx 80% of students get placed.

I liked exam patterns as exams are conducted throughout semesters so their their is less pressure on students.
I liked the sports facilities in the campus.
I like the college infrastructure and design.

Dislikes

As campus is growing so there is construction going in college.
The campus is little far(approx 40 km) from the city
There is noise and some barricades in the college due to construction.

Placement Experience:

Mostly students get placement opportunities from 7th semester but some students also get pre placement offers in their 3rd year. In the campus almost 300 companies come to campus. The highest package offered was 65 LPA and average package is 20 LPA. There are opportunities for all students from different branches. Around 80 percent students get placed. My plan is to get a good job after my degree.

From semester 5 students are eligible for internships and from semester 7 students are eligible for placements, our highest placement is 67lpa and again, average placement of our cosge is 30 lpa and 31lpa for electrical engineering and for computer science engineering students

Although every department of IIT Hyderabad offers top-notch education, it’s the EE department that steals the show. There are many unique aspects of this department that make it one of the most coveted branches of IIT Hyderabad.

The fractal academic system is a unique feature of IIT Hyderabad that sets it apart from other IITs. You have no choice but to work hard and excel in all subjects. There aren’t mids and ends in every sem instead you have monthly quizzes to evaluate you regularly.
There are many other strategies adopted to make the students work hard. For example, surprise quizzes in almost every subject are taken. These quizzes require the students to prepare before and after every class and also be regular to classes.
The EE department helps convert theory to practice through a number of projects.
