Likes

Continuous assessment of the course makes it very easy to score and less burden.
Double Major option provided that the CGPA of the student is good enough.
Very beautiful campus and hostels with modern architecture.

Dislikes

Currently under Phase 2 of the construction
Lack of funds in clubs which doesn't bring up enthusiasm for big projects.
Food Quality seems bad for the North Indians

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose it based on my rank. My branch was a new branch with only 8 students (6 boys 2 girls). Faculties are well qualified and taught rigorously. It was really easy to pass every exam over here at IIT-Hyderabad.

Class Size: 8Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester Fee is around 1,42,000 INR which is quite high with respect to the other IITs. Out of this 1,00,000 INR is the tution fee and the remaining 42,000 is the Hostel and Mess fee. People with annual family income below 5,00,000 INR have 66% off in tution fee. People with annual family income below 1,00,000 INR have no tution fee to pay (100% off).

Campus Life

Library is currently under construction. There is currently one small library in the Academic Block which doesn't have too much of a collection. People usually rely on Soft-copy of PDFs. Many clubs and co-curriculars. Many fest every now and then.

Admission

Clearance JEE Advanced was the criteria. Exam dates and fees can be reviewed at the JEE Main and JEE Advanced websites. EWS and OBC reservations are available for all with annual family income less than 800000 INR. Female Quota is also available.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities start from the semester, with companies that have visited our college including Accenture, Capegemini, and Amazon. Training is provided from the first year, focusing on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Students qualify for placements based on their performance in monthly and weekly tests. There are two groups: one is called the Product Batch, and the other is the Service Batch. there is a 40% of students getting the placements my plans after degree to get a good placement from college.
