Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is very good in terms of relevance as its closing rank in before electrical in IIT hyderabad. the course is very good and interesting for people who are interested in solving engineering problems using coding and it involves lot of mathematical coding which is also tough. the toughness of the course is a point to consider while enrolling. the course contains many core subjects of mechanical, material scince, bioengineering etc. and we use coding to solve these real life problems.the course itself is enough at the btech level to get a placement but if u wanna pursue higher studies u can choose any prestige university as they contain MS in computational engineering. I think the course is almost perfect but there are few course that should be replaced by some circuit topics of more computer science which will help in our coding career.the exams are quite easy if u spend 1-2 hrs daily. but u have to focus on your coding career too.exams for each subject are conducted 3 times per sem

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee strucure in IIT hyderabad is pretty affordable as it is 3 lakhs per year. and we easily get loans through our degrees. and the scholarship program is divided into 3 parts. 30%fee wavier for 5 laks or below. 60% wavier for 3L or below. and 100% fee wavier for income below 1Lakh per annum.but only the tution fee is cut off. u have to pay the mess fee and hostel fee regardless. which sums upto 1 LAKH per year which is pretty affordable.and there are many scholarships given based on your JEE advanced rank too like birla and tata. u get internships and placements depending on yur hardwork in 3rd and 4th year respectively. but generally 90% of students get placments. but u can take many responsibilities of clubs. I myself have been in finance and E-cell. which improves communication skills and confidence.

Campus Life

3

the campus life is pretty good but as itis a newer IIT the clubs and fest culture are not to lit but there are a lot of clubs and fests. we have a fest elan and nvision which takes place in march for 5 days which is the annual -techno-cultural fest of IITH.then we have MILAN which is inter hostel. and we have diesta which is inter depertmental sports competition.the classrooms and lecture halls are top notch with air conditining in all classrooms and good writing equipment . the sports infra is quite good as the newly constructed sports complex is the best among all IIT's

Admission

the admission process was quite smooth and easy without any technical problems. the application process was through JOSAA and JEE advanced determine the admission into IIT's. the cutoff in general was about 1800 in general.there area lot of reservation benifits in IIT's as there are 20% OBC, 20% for girls, and few seats for SC/ST and EWS. and some for PWD's.the exam is very tough and we cannot complete the entire paper in just the 3 hours of time given. the examination consists of 2 papers one morning and one evening on the same day each of 3 hrs. to succed in exams like JEE u have to keep revising all the topics from the start because it consists of huge syllabus along with variety of models so joining in a good coaching centre is suggested. but if ur self disciplined enough u can learn from youtube courses such as physics wallah and unacademy which are sometimes better.

Placement opportunities start from the semester, with companies that have visited our college including Accenture, Capegemini, and Amazon. Training is provided from the first year, focusing on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Students qualify for placements based on their performance in monthly and weekly tests. There are two groups: one is called the Product Batch, and the other is the Service Batch. there is a 40% of students getting the placements my plans after degree to get a good placement from college.
