Likes

The infrastructure and outdoor greenery and grounds are wonderful.
The vibe of the campus is cozy and comfortable.
The environment is is academically productive as there are many active college societies.

Dislikes

The rules and regulations get too much sometimes .
The attendance criteria of minimum 67% is too difficult to achieve .
The fests feel a little dull sometimes as compared to private colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the main subject curriculum is just fine but the AEC SEC and VAC criteria is just not as productive as it may seem . Teaching hindi COMPULSORY to students of all courses is just not right. Also, SEC classes on saturdays take up too much time and do not let students induldge in other self productive activities .

Internships Opportunities

Well i am in first year so i am not aware of all the internahips yet..... but according to my seniors there are plenty opportunities in companies like deloitte etc.. available . Roles like managers are provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

I will be paying 28000 per semester I have already paid for the first semester now i have 5 semesters left So 28000 * 5 = 140000 is still due to the university from me. There are various types of reservation quotas available for different students

Campus Life

The annual college festival is montage and it is pretty amazing from what i have heard ...and also we can attend fests like NEXUS (Shri venkateshwar college's annual fest) and other famous DU fests too

Admission

I applied to a number of different colleges like christ bangalore and St. Xaviers Mumbai . I chose this college over others because DU is the most reputed among all and it was the closest to my home .

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is excellent and they are pretty approachable. I like reshma roy ma'am because her class is always a combination of fun and good teaching. There are a total of 7 exams per semester - 3 DSC ones and 4 others.

Night Life

Our college closes at 6 pm so no there is no nightlife in the campus nor around it because it is in the embassy area ... though to have fun one can always enjoy Delhi's nightlife (carefully ofcourse).

My simple college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Life at JMC

JMC is a beauty!!

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745.
