- Administration of the college might not be supportive at times.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course contains the revised curriculum of NEP 2019-20. While the course prepare students for future academic pursuits but the curriculum still lacks behind to prepare one for real world application. I feel the subjects could be equipped with more practicals and new softwares and technologies. Due to NEP we have 7 subjects which feels burden and increases the difficulty.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my college is ?14000 per annum + examination fees. The fees include all the components like tuition fee development fees lab fees etc. special scholarship is provided to SC ST NCL and economically weaker students. Scholarship of ?12000 is provided by Dyal Singh College
Campus Life
Infrastructure of college is good. The facilities and technology provision of the classroom should be improved. Sports and extra curricular activities are held. The student union of college conducts annual fest in the month of January/February. There are a lot of societies in the college run by students and also official societies under IQAC.
Admission
The college comes under Delhi University. DU uses its CSAS seat allocation system. So basically one applies for all the colleges while applying for du. I simply choose this college because I got it and liked the course offered. After giving the exam of CUET you have to fill the CSAS form of DU.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is good. Usually the faculty is helpful in nature. The older professors are very well worst and experienced in their subject. Yes some professor might not be supportive. There are separate exam for each semester. The course curriculum is relevant but lacks industry orientation and modern tech reforms.
Night Life
Delivery usually closes at 4 to 5 p.m. there are no gym and cafeteria's but student usually hangout on Red Benches etc. Because it lies in New Delhi district the locality is usually safe. There is no hostel so the college is closed for students after evening.
