Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Bcom program and it is a good course,you will be able to learn human resource management and planning, rules regarding company law along with their accounting treatment.But only bcom is not enough you should learn some basic skills like advance excel, digital marketing, social media marketing etc.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of bcom in sggscc DU is around 32000 for one year , it is more than other colleges of DU but it also provide scholarship to students whose family income is less than 4,00,000 per annum. I have also received scholarship in 1st year and I got 27,000 return of my fees.

Campus Life

The overall experience is good. infrastructure of sggscc DU is so good, badminton net, seperate cricket ground. it is a Sikh college so there a gurudwara where you can sit and feel peace . Library provide you every kind of books and novels.

Admission

The admission process of sggscc DU is through CUET, firstly you have to give entrance exam and then you will fill the DU form(CSAS)round 1, after getting CUET score round 2 CSAS will be started then you will fill your preferences and a seat as per your cuet score will be allotted to you .

Faculty

Faculty members are very kind in nature.They provide us ppts , study materials, conduct online classes. They support us at the time of examinations by providing important questions from exam point of view. Teachers of our college are very interactive and approachable. They never miss our lectures. They inform one day before their absence in the college.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.
