Remarks

It was a wonderful experience. There is nothing bad to be in a girl's college because you get wonderful friends. And add-on caring teachers too. I got learn many things and the environment in the college premises helped me develop as an individual.

Entrance Preview

No I didn't write any exam. I only had to submit my documents to get admission. I had an interest in my subject which led me to choose economics hons.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was really good to understand the economy around me. My college offered me to do some research projects which gave a broader perspective of world issues. Many students got their research papers published too.

Internships Opportunities

Internships were rarely provided during my graduation but now the placement team has improvised. Most internships are stipend free.

Placement Experience

The average package was 4lacs. The percentage of students that got placed in my course was only 20% or so. Various companies such as KPMG, wipro, deloite, niit, evalueserve etc came for recruitment.

College Events

All the major were held in the college premises such as department fest, cultural fest and most importantly annual fest. All fest welcomed students from various colleges with a valid college ID. We had good investors and had great experience in annual fest. Well known stars were invites for all three days. The average footfall was around 1500-2000.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's most affordable across all universities. I only had to pay 8000-10000 for my entire year. For others courses too fee variation isn't much.

No I wasn't residing in hostel. And my batch mates couldn't get college hostel if there were any.

Faculty

The college faculty is highly educated. Mostly are in the final stage of PhD. They were very interactive giving advice on various topics besides bookish knowledge.

Reality Check

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

I really don't like the curriculum , the syllabus should be updated as per real life situations . And I feel like more no. Of lectures should be alloted to understand the concepts really better . There should be some real life based and AI in the syllabus

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college. Gargi College defines greatness!

CUET is the best thing that has happened as otherwise when it was on percentage basis our college cut-offs were 96 percent minimum. Luckily now the benchmark is set on 90 and rest all on CUET score. Gari College has given endless memories!!

I obviously like every girl in India wanted LSR but 790 was the cut-off for LSR and for Gargi it was 772. I missed my mark by 6 numbers or percentile or else I would have been reviewing LSR currently.
