Remarks

The eligibility for admission in 2021 was based on merit however it might have changed to CUCET. I found the admission details on the official website of Delhi University. The admission process is quite smooth and convenient so no suggestions are required.

I am pursuing a B.Com program from JMC to establish my career in the field of commerce. The faculty of commerce is great and hardworking. The semester examination is quite straightforward and not as difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

The college has its placement cell that gives updates about any internships available for students. Companies like Younity offers internship in the field of sales and marketing to allow students to understand the corporate world.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was a hike in the annual fee from 15k to 20k but still affordable depending on the quality of education provided. Nominal exam fees is to be paid separately for each semester exam. Overall the cost to study is great.

Campus Life

Annual Diwali mela - Oct-Nov. The library is well-equipped with great books and journals. The classrooms are okay not that great. Students have the option to participate in any extracurricular activities like sports and completions.

My simple college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

JMC is a beauty!!

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745.
