Remarks

The admission process is GOOD. I qualify IIT-JAM Exam, and the application process is online by CCMN. On the CCMN site we have the opportunity to choose filling college and according to your mark college is allocated. The cut-off mark is 19.23.

I choose MSc in applied chemistry because I want to learn and search chemical compounds. The faculty is too good, the student ratio is 1:3, Well-qualified faculty but the teaching methods are very good. Term exams are on time and not too difficult to pass.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 36000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees are so high. Fees structure 1st sem 25900, 2nd sem 12000, 3rd sem 16500, 4th sem 13000. No opportunity for any scholarship, No stipends Colleges should provide stipends because we clarify national level exam IIT-JAM.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Technosis which is conducted in October month, The availability of books is not too good but the e- library is so good and the journals of books are good. Sports activities are good and a sports fest is hosted on campus. A social group is Gymkhana run by NIT Silchar students.

NIT Silchar Everything You need to know

I chose this collgege because it is in my homestate has a great allumni connection , great placement and highly qualified faculties. The other colleges I applied for were NIT Durgapur , AEC,NIT callicut,IIIT Pune,NIT Andhra Pradesh. NIT SIlchar has largest campus amomg all these colleges...and a great placement. Is NIT Silchar a good University?

Ine josaa counseling , I had applied it for NIT Silchar and Assam University Silchar. NIT Silchar is found to be better than Assam University in various rankings like NIRF ranking etc. Students have to appear for joint entrance examination to get admission in b.tech courses in NIT Silchar.
