Study and chill

This college is a state-aided engineering college. Only took students who qualified wbjee (for b tech) and gate (for m tech). Application fees are 5000 only. Yes, there is a reservation for sc, st, obc students.

Ceramic engineering has a vast space in both the industrial and research fields. We are provided a great faculty, teachers are so friendly with us, and students are also studious. The sex ratio is 100:25. Exams are held semester-wise, easy to be prepared with teachers' notes.

Students are eligible to get an internship after the 4th semester. You have to take responsibility for this internship. But after the 5th semester, the college will arrange for internships and industrial visits. Some of the internships are stipends. Projects depend on which industry you are going to and on which project currently going on.

From 3rd year, students are eligible for compass placements. The main companies that visit our colleges are national refractory, trl Kurosaki, saint Gobain glass, sail, etc. The highest package is about 8-9 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Almost all students get placed. I want to do a job after my degree.

Our college, being a govt college asks for a minimal amount of fees. The students having low family income need not pay tuition fees according to the govt rule. Besides, students can apply for the svmcm scholarship and other central government scholarship schemes. This course has a 100% placement chance as so many companies do visit to recruit students with very high salaries.

There is an annual fest held in January, and a tech fest in April every year. Almost all the books are available in the library related to the course. In the classroom, teachers use to teach through a projector. Computers are also available in classrooms. The student network is very strong in our college.

I'm not in the hostel so I can't say anything about the hostel facilities. I'm having a pg, here the locality is very much pleasant and study help. Try to go for the hostel first, if you can't get a hostel then only go for pg. Try to collect with your seniors for pg.

Gd or pi is based on any topic related to our course. Students have to complete the course studiously. After qualifying for the wbjee exam, one should have to go for counseling, and after getting the college one has to submit a provisional admission letter and other documents. Just study well.
