Course is same as past year students learnt. But from this year syllabus is little bit changed. In our course curriculum both theoretical and practical classes held. But as a Computer Science and Engineering student we have Programming and Computer Subjects from 2nd semster.

Internship opportunity is available both on campus and off campus. Ceramic Technology students gets more on campus internship as compare to Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technolgy students. CSE and IT students gets off campus internship mainly.

In Ceramic Technology department everyone gets placed. Placement percentage for Ceramic Technology is 100%. But for the Computer Science and Engineering & Information Technology department nearly no on campus placement you have to go off campus for placement. For the average and highest package i have not sufficient data.

The tuition fees is 1000 rupees per month for Computer Science And Engineering, 2000 rupees per month for Information Technology and 500 rupees per month for Ceramic Technology. Admission fee is 1000 rupees, Caution money is 300 rupees, University Developement Fees is 2200 rupees, University registration fee is 500 rupees,Semester Examination fees is 1200 rupees and other fees is 601 rupees. If you are a TFW candidate then you do not need to pay tuition fees.If we talk about Scholarships Swami vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM) and Freeship etc is available for the students.

Experience in our college is good. College having many clubs like Music, Drama, Dance, Painting, Chess, Cricket, Footbal, Robotics, TechClub, Astronomy etc. Library is available having many books. You can issue books from library. And Reading area is available in library. Annual Cultural Fest is Jagriti and Tech Fest is Karmatek. And many events happens time to time.

Currently Hostel is available for 30 students. Construction is in process for making capacity for 90 students. In each room having 3 beds and all essential things. Quality of food is good. Registration process for hostel is college launches a form you have to fill it and after that students selected on the basis of distance from home and family income.

Admission is based on West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Counselling and Decentrallized counselling. In WBJEE counselling you get college on the basis of your rank and preference order of college choice list. I choose this college because this is government college, fees is affordable. And i got CSE branch in this college.

As per my experience many faculties in 1st semester is good but some faculties teaches like they are reading books and they tries to complete topics in minimum amount of time. As I heared from seniors some good faculties leaving our college. But i can't say about all the faculties are not good or good for all the semesters.

After classes you can play sports like Badminton, Cricket, Football etc. Gym is also available in our campus. Hostel is in our college campus for 30 students and from next year may be for 90 students. Construction is in process.
