Entrance Preview

I gave the Written exam of Thapar for Admission in M.Tech(VLSI Design & CAD). I scored a 1st rank of that written exam of 2011. and got the admission in VLSI Branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

I Did my M.tech in VLSI Design & CAD.i read many subject like Analog and digital VLSI Design, Unix Shell Programming, I also read HDL Languages like VHDL and Verilog during this course.

Internships Opportunities

I did my M.tech internship from college.because i have sufficient tools for my M.Tech Thesis.But there are many Electronics companies come for Internship and the average stipend is 25k to 30k per month.

Placement Experience

Placement of my college is very good.There are lot of opportunities for Thapar's Students.Lot of companies come every year in our college campus and hier many student as their requirement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, there are lot of scloarships and loan facilities are available in our college as their requirement basis.

i just want to say that our college campus is awesome in every field. There are lot of sports facilities are available like swimming pool, lawn-tennis court, badminton court, bollyball and basketball court and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are suffcient for both Girls and Boys.and the food is very good. The average Rentle is approx. Rs. 3000-4000 /- every month including food plus accomodations.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our Thapar alumni committe is very good . They have very intelligent persons. They organized the meeting in every month. There are lot of parties of old & senior students.

Exam Structure

The Exam Structure is very good in our college. it gives the suffcient opportunities to student for improving their marks and their Knowledge.

Faculty

Faculty of Thapar having very vast knowledge of their corresponfding Fields. They are very good in nature.They teach the student very efficiently.Also take quiz time to time.

4 Placement Experience:

Teh campus placements are not that good for this course. It's good for BTECH students but for Mtech it is not at par. Till now for my batch hardly 5-6 companies came for internship out of which hardly 4 took the candidates.

Placement Experience:

if there are no backlogs student first gets a chance to be placed at a good company as an intern after 2 sem internship usually is for 3 & 4 sem. College makes sure you get a great company with high stipend and ppo offer also. after the internship completion either the student get placed at the same company or the placement drive also begins from 3 sem only where you can apply and get interviews with the organization

You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities.
