Remarks

Every aspect of the college was good including the infrastructure, academic, festivals held at college. But, the only problem was related to placements as there was not prior communication regarding the company’s to the students

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was totally focused on the ongoing subjects in the market That helps the students to avail better job opportunities . And, the practical approach was totally based on the theoretical knowledge provided by subjects so that the students can have clear understanding of the subjects in a practical way.

Placement Experience

2

The only drawback of college was related to placements. Students in post-graduation were not provided proper information regarding companies and their recruitment process. Sometimes students were given information at the spot of companies arrival.

College Events

4.5

Many seminars were being conducted. Along with that, many cultural events were held every year which was celebrated on big level, where other colleges were invited to participate which helps in dealing with the competition among the students. Some technical events were also there to help students to have technical knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the university is high as compare to other colleges. The charges include examination charges. Mostly cash payment and payment by demand draft was done at the bank of college. There was not any proper transparency regarding the fees also

Fees and Financial Aid

No , I did not apply for any scholarships or education loan during the period of my degree. But , according to my knowledge, students were provided some kinds of scholarships based on things like a single girl child or based on good academics.

Campus Life

The gender ratio was close to 50-50. There were regular extracurricular activities like sports competitions, festivals and technical events that include inter-department as well intra-department, additionally also inviting other colleges for the same

Hostel Facilities

The hostels were quite good and totally safe. Mostly the hostels have stay for 3-4 graduate students and single seater accommodation for post-graduate students. The hostels were quite clean. But as always the hostel canteens were the best part

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the senior students were very helpful. The alumni always give us suggestions regarding betterment of students projects, studies that help the new students a lot.

Admission

The college held their own entrance test which students had to clear to get admission in the college. I had the test in 2011 session and got selected for the admission. The competition was quite high at that time as the college was very popular. Nobody was selected without entrance test

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of college is good but all the faculty do not focus on practical aspects, like there are many laboratories for conducting the experiments but staff conduct the theory classes properly but not practical ones. Some faculty only consider it as a job not some opportunity to create interest of their students for study

Teh campus placements are not that good for this course. It's good for BTECH students but for Mtech it is not at par. Till now for my batch hardly 5-6 companies came for internship out of which hardly 4 took the candidates.

The Placements at Lovely Professional University(LPU) are descent overall, especially for undergraduate program like B.Tech. But for for the Masters students the placements are not good, they focus on research work only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.
