Remarks

I didn't apply in other colleges. I applied in RIMT University and booked my seat there. The admission process was very easy. One should have completed BTECH. Some students choose integrated course where BTECH and MTECH are done together

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this because I was interested in pursuing MTECH after BTECH. It helped me alot in my field. It increased my knowledge related to my field. Altogether it was a great experience which I gained after doing MTECH.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fee was 120000. My hostel fee per month was 7500. There was no other fee that I was paying. I Didn't have any SC ST friend so I don't know about their fee structure. We used to pay exam fee which I am not right now remembering how much that was.

Campus Life

In my journey one annual day was celebrated and a lohri festival was also celebrated. There were 2 libraries. Those libraries had a lot of books. I think every sort of book was available there. Cricket was played there, basketball ball, badminton, tennis etc was played there.

Hostel Facilities

Almost every facility was given in our room. For summers if u have to ask for AC, then you have to pay more rent. Even for coolers we had payed more rent. Mess was great there. The quality of food was very very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Faculty

10:150 was the ratio of teacher and students. The relationship is very good and very approachable. My favorite teacher was sandeep sir. He is very helpful and very kind to everyone. Exam pattern was moderate to tough.

Night Life

There was a gym in every hostel. We used to go to gym in the evening. There were many cafeterias which used to open till 9 to 10pm. Public areas for girls was allowed till 7pm. For boys it was always open.

4 Placement Experience:

Teh campus placements are not that good for this course. It's good for BTECH students but for Mtech it is not at par. Till now for my batch hardly 5-6 companies came for internship out of which hardly 4 took the candidates.

if there are no backlogs student first gets a chance to be placed at a good company as an intern after 2 sem internship usually is for 3 & 4 sem. College makes sure you get a great company with high stipend and ppo offer also. after the internship completion either the student get placed at the same company or the placement drive also begins from 3 sem only where you can apply and get interviews with the organization

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.

I chose this college because it was at rank 3 in Punjab Technical University ranks and also many fellow state people had chosen this college. But that was not only reason. Overall the campus is really good
