I choose ECE as my course.Initially i it was very good and study going good,but after 1 years the subjects becomes tougher and tougher.So, you have to hard work to passed or clear the semester. As far Practical learning is concern, in our college labs are not upto the standard.They are okay. During your 2 months industrial training , we made a project on traffic light

Internships Opportunities

No internship is provided by the college neither no guidance.Only 2 months industrial training was provided after the 1st year of B.Tech which was wasted of time only.No stipend nor knowledge is provided to the students.Just attendance were counted here

Placement Experience

This is the worst thing that our college placement drive was very bad.Although they called many companies for the placement drive but most of them are average companies and they offer nothing. About 20-30 students are placed.No major companies were visited the campus. 1 Lacs is the average package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was good. As i got admission in Fee Waiver Quota so for me the fee structure was very good. Fee structure is quite similar with nearby colleges.So, you can fee structure is not too much high or not too much low.

Hostel Facilities

As far hostel is concern, i was a day scholar. So, i hadn't experienced hostel life.Therefore i can't explain about hostel life style.But yes i had so many college mates who used to live in hostel.So they have told many cons and prons about hostel life. According to my hostel friends the hostel was okay.Not so bad and not so good. For Non - AC Hostel room: 26k per semester For Non - AC Hostel room: 30k per semester Food was okay and average.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

As we all know in college culture no one restricted you to study. it totally depends upon each individual interest or willing. Faculty are average in our college.Some of teacher were good and their way of was very understandable.But not all the faculty members were good.Some of were fresher and they recently had passed their graduation. Yes, all teachers were very co operative and you have any questions you can them anytime.They will always guide or suggest

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Yes my engineering college provide placement to students many companies visited this year as intern for third year student like visa, samsungand many more .one has to be competitive enough for scoring and clearing all the round and to get internship as well as placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

I chose this college because it was at rank 3 in Punjab Technical University ranks and also many fellow state people had chosen this college. But that was not only reason. This college was overall best in academic purposes. There is not a good reputation of colleges in many areas of punjab. Overall the campus is really good

Admission process is very easy. There is no entrance exam for any course. I got my admission there through consultancy which helped me a lot there and saved my fee also for 1st semester.
