As I had the Lower gate score as So that I was in less amount of options to choose the course so as I got the NIT jalandhar for Mathematics and computing I took it but the course I saw was completely in Mathematics so I regreate by taking the course as I was having my primary intrest in data science so i would suggest it was my bad decision then i dropped of the institute

Class Size: 13Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid about 66,000 rupee for my Mtech course for OBC and all category its same for the Mtech course ,here per month we get the scholarship from mhrd of rupee 12500 that is only the financel support made by the government

Campus Life

There are ample amount of tech and cultural event in nit j which help students for there technical growth ,almost all books are avaliable to people in national library ,Sports is also highly encouraged in the Institute which include cricket and foothball like stuff

Admission

Admission procedure is normal like other colleges but I choose NIT J over the other colleges like I was out of options for the same so that I don't have anyother option at that time to take nothing other than it

Faculty

For our course there where faculty like professor and Phd Scholars mostly sometimes the lectures is taken by phd scholars of Mtech students instead of professor this thing i much dislike of NIT also the Phd scolars are not that technically strong

Placement Experience:

if there are no backlogs student first gets a chance to be placed at a good company as an intern after 2 sem internship usually is for 3 & 4 sem. College makes sure you get a great company with high stipend and ppo offer also. after the internship completion either the student get placed at the same company or the placement drive also begins from 3 sem only where you can apply and get interviews with the organization

The new upcoming Central University

Placement Experience:

There is a placement and training cell in the university but the main task of that placement in training cell is to go for the internship of the students though the university also provides training in different fields for the students that includes some faculty training programs some UPSC exam preparation and some government exam preparations that makes the students ready for outer world but basically the main focus of the university is on the search as it is a research University not a placement based University after post graduation I plan to pursue research.

Course Curriculum Overview:

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.

NIT Jalandhar is the only NIT college who has Textile Technology as its branch. So here itself the value is increased. If I compare other colleges with this with same branch and course then still NIT Jalandhar holds more value. To take admission in NIT Jalandhar, one has to clear JEE Mains with good percentile. Brief About NITJ

I applied for PEC, Chitkara, CU, LPU and NITJ. Out of which I could have enrolled in anyone except PEC. I choose NITJ cause of its low fee, better placements and good reputation. I got rejected from PEC (punjab engineering college) as my JEE percentile was not sufficient. For Btech admissin you need a valid Jee rank and students are enrolled through Jossa portal....Read More
