Course Curriculum Overview

2

According to my choosen course it shouldn't be done from this University, i joined here dueto some ppl telling ro pursue this course from this uni and its good Actually it's good bit not that bad, but they need to teach some pratical that can be useful for us in future instead of theoretical knowledge, there i a DF subjet here and they are taking theory exam.of this like it's a fuvking pratical subject and on english subject like why its needed we have studied this for 1st to 12th class, there no need, in eng sub thereis science, not enough learing here. Exam timing for MST is 1:30 hours and for final it's 3hours with moderate level difficultly

Placement Experience

1

Being a new here i dont kow much about the placements here. But i saw a chart of the placement being offered to previous batch studens higest placement was 11 lakh per annum, and lowest was 4 lak per annum For ore placements u have to work hard and score a good CGPA to be eligible for placements. Students get less placements here After completing my degree i plan to learn some soft or tchnical skills that will be helpful for me in future

Fees and Financial Aid

Dor the course that I've opted semester fees is 38,995 and now i Currently in my 1st sem so actually I don't know much but i can tell that in 2nd sem fees is less And for scholarships it is available only for SC or ST

Campus Life

1

Being a student in guru nanak gev University of punjab, there are a lot of festivals going on here, and a youth festival too that goes on for a long period of time, or for months too, in every other department and auditorium too. In festivals all r asked to wear traditional being in punjabi area Well it's quite enjobale for some students only if they are from punjab

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel life is so bsd, no good and tasty food, just tasteless, its good but not according to my taste. No gym, no place to relax enjoy, and worse bathrooms to rver exist and in winters we have to bsth with cold water not hot, its so traumatic

Admission

Actually after 12th I filled the form for CUET for admission in colleges all around the India, but literally 2 months have gone and no result were coming, so in order to get admission in any college i got to know about this uni from a friend I filled its application form, gave entrance exam and passed it with good rank and got admission here For admission u have to first- 1. Fill application form in their official website 2. Study for the topic of ur entrance exam according to the course u want to chose. 3. Give exam Then after passing u have to come to uni to do all formalities for admission according to ur rank.

Faculty

2

There is generally 2 exams in a whole sem, MST and final examination, MST of 30 marks and somw are 15 and Finals of 70 or 35. Actually they do very strict checking in MST to fail or demotivate a no. Of ppl so more students reappear and they earn a lot of money for that, and idk why here attendace is a measure issue here. Being an introvert, i don't interact much with faculty or professor's, buti can tell some are food and some are very bad in nature I was being teached by a Business law prof. , i can tell he's such a cringe person to ever exist he doesn't respect any person juat always shouting here and there, and one PPM ma'am doesn't allow in class if late for 3 mintues or more, but she come late too, wht can't they understand sometimes due to some reason student's can't come always on time like her class is at 10am and at 9 am there is al class of MD course which is always at other department where is far from our dept. And for 1 hour class how come we reach at properly 10 am if we were discharged from 10 am by 9 am class, whatever

Night Life

1

Being a hosteller here, they don't allow girls after 9 pm to go outside and everyday attendace ismarks for girls, while voys are roamimg freely every other minute even at night too, with no fear, and being i girl we are restricted ronhostel only so we can't know about the night in the campus area There is no place ro hanout in campus or outside campus Outside uni, opposite there is UT market its good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly every course have different fee structure. As my course is BCOM so i think if you need to make some higher knowledge of commerce you should go for it because it can help you to make your overall basic knowledge good even if you don't related to commerce stream in 11th or 12th. the way of teaching in the collage is good but still some of the teachers don't have interest to teach their student in the better way. exam system in the collage is good and its difficuly level is moderate also its depend on the subject and point of view of the students
