Almost January and February months event conducting period. The model engineering college tech fest is almost famous and provides a credit-based certificate. the college annual day and college day is most celebrated greatly. good and calm atmosphere in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compare to other government colleges here fee is high. Pta amount is high but they provide a lot of scholarship. case of m tech each semester having 24,000/- in 4 semesters. Extra fest amount and bus fee extra payment. PTA and college fee are separate payment.

B tech societies and m tech societies are very different. Sports activities and super good ground provide in our college. strict and lot of rules provide our college so other ethnicities, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economics problem not reporting there.

No girls hostel in Model engineering college Kochi Ernakulam. extra girl paying guest homes accommodation and food is given. comparatively high level and the amount are high. a lot of paying guest home in around our college place.

MEC EEE REVIEW

I applied to cet, tkm, gec for branches eee and ec My first option was cet for which i couldn't get admission due to my rank. Cet requires rank below 1000. And my second option was mec (my college). MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

My cousin studied here few years back and is now working a top tech company.I applied for Cs in MSRIT and AMRITA,but the fee structure over there is too high(around 3-4 lakh per year).Here overall fee amount is equivalent the yearly fee.To get admission in MEC,a person needs to write keam exam .Three phases of allotment are held in here.At the beginning of all allotment,we could change our preferences.For CSE BATCH,CUTOFF RANK FOR merit is around 2k and Management around 3.5k .For CSBS it's around 3k for Merit and 7-8k for management....Read More

Good for social life but very minimal infrastructure and facilities

The reason I chose this college over other options were due to the prime location in which it is present and due to the city it is present in . MEC is renowned for the placement opportunities available in this college and is placed in the top 3 colleges in Kerala in terms of placemenets . The admission is based on the student's KEAM rank and this rank decides whether you get the Merit seat or management seat . For others you also have an NRI seat .
