the infrastructure is very poor and the campus is relatively small compared to other collages

i opted for this cource due to my passion when i was a child. as i entered this collage they teaches how to improve our skills in the field and also train us to apper in a job interview. the exam diffciulty is medium

i have no scholorship avialable right at the moment and the total fee that i have to pay a year is roughly around 42000. that includes 20000 tution fee per sm and additional exam registration feeses.I had my admission at merit catogory which is the lowest possible fees in our collage. and my bach mates who are optted for manegement seats have to pay a fee of 70000 per year. The scholarships that i am familiar with are only cast based which am not eligible for

Campus Life

navarasa which is the film club of the college which is actualy the only club am intrested in and am totaly into it .it unlocks a diffrent level of film making to the members and the head in charges are super friendly

I chose this college because of its high placement rate and a strong alumini network.this college was my first priority this college is located at the heat of kochi.also i came to know about all the clubs and the oppertunities.

the faculties in our collage are realy friendly and approchable.the best faculties in my pesrspective are aswith who teaches mechanics of machinary and rejith sir who teach thermal engieering. others are actualy good but not as perfect as them

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I applied to cet, tkm, gec for branches eee and ec My first option was cet for which i couldn't get admission due to my rank. Cet requires rank below 1000. And my second option was mec (my college). The college that i applied other than model engineering college is CET trivandrum which is the best college under ktu in kerala . And the second is model engineering college. I would have got admission is any other colleges in kerala . I choose model engineering college because of its placements and academic progress. MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

My cousin studied here few years back and is now working a top tech company.I applied for Cs in MSRIT and AMRITA,but the fee structure over there is too high(around 3-4 lakh per year).Here overall fee amount is equivalent the yearly fee.To get admission in MEC,a person needs to write keam exam .Three phases of allotment are held in here.At the beginning of all allotment,we could change our preferences.For CSE BATCH,CUTOFF RANK FOR merit is around 2k and Management around 3.5k .For CSBS it's around 3k for Merit and 7-8k for management....Read More

Good for social life but very minimal infrastructure and facilities

The reason I chose this college over other options were due to the prime location in which it is present and due to the city it is present in . MEC is renowned for the placement opportunities available in this college and is placed in the top 3 colleges in Kerala in terms of placemenets . The admission is based on the student's KEAM rank and this rank decides whether you get the Merit seat or management seat . For others you also have an NRI seat .
