The only good thing about this college is its placements. Model Engineering College is well known for its placement even competing with CET. We have an average of 6-8 LPA and highest package was 50CTC. 90% of students are placed mostly every year. I am planning to be a developer and gain experience and become an entrepreneur. I would say college placements are really good if you are looking for IT companies Core placements are very low. Electrical core placements are very rare , electronics core have much better placements. However 95% of students get placed if not in core then in software companies or in terms of internship

Almost all students who passout is placed in a company . Here placements are very high and almost 100% placements are offered . The companies that visited the college are Technology and IT Services: Infosys, TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Cognizant, Oracle, Deloitte, and Tata Motors. Software and Internet Services: Adobe, Redbus, and Ansys. Professional Services and Analytics: Deloitte and EY. Electronics and EDA: Synopsys. In the 2023 placement season, MEC achieved significant milestones: Total Offers: 273 Branch-wise Offers: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): 106 Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE): 97 Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE): 32 Electronics and Biomedical Engineering (EBE): 38

Mec is best known for placement. From seventh semster placment starts . Placemnet cell and training cell will train us with lots of mock test and interviews before actual placements. Percentage of students getting placed are high.

The placements in the college was extraordinary officially 100% of the students are getting placed in Computer Science Engineering other department also have good placements. The alumini connection is very strong here. Many of the aluminious are placed in Big MNCs

The placements at mec are top notch . The placement cell and training cell are student led. The highest package last year was 56lpa .most of the students in the computer science departments get placed.

Curriculum is good and has direct influence in the field of interest. We have subjects such as signal processing, Python and C Programming, Medical Imaging Techniques, Study of analyical and diagnostic equipment, Design Thinking an Hospital Engineering etc. The semesters put forward byt KTU are pretty tight and hecic but the subjects are very interesting.

As I say my college has the second highest placement rate in Kerala and it offers many multinational companies like Apple , Google ,Twitter, Tata etc. you will be eligible for the placement from 6th semester onwards and average pack is 100000 rupees. You should atleast have a 8.5 cgpa to apply for placement drives as many companies have a cgpa cuttoff

The placements here are great, if you are skilled you would get a very high paying job from here.Even if you are not that skilled,still you would get a decent job.The companies that visited include Deloitte, EY, Harman, Lenovo, Accenture, Air India.etc

Placements are the main highlight of our college.Highest package offered this year was 52 lpa by D.E shaw &Co . Average package was around 8lpa. Almost all students from CSE and ECE were placed . Companies: Redbus, Deloitte,TCS,UST Global etcs. Students from sem 6-7 are eligible for placements.
