- Its location , It is situated at the heart of cochin city. Unlike other colleges it is easily accessible from the city,all means of transport are available from here.
- Great social life. It is really easy to meet students of other classes and other years because of the small area of the college.
Dislikes
- Area of the college is really small.There is not much place to hang around inside the college premises.
- Not much emphasis on sports and arts programs
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose computer science and business systems because i am interested in both management studies and technology.Our course contains many mangement subjects and computer science subjects.Management subjects are really easy.We are currently the first batch of this course in our college and we are expecting great place.
Internships Opportunities
Companies will offer internships interships if you are skilled. recently oracle visited our college and offered 50k stipend for 3 months.other companies Like lenovo, harman, accenture also offer internships with stipend 25k and upwards.
Placement Experience
The placements here are great, if you are skilled you would get a very high paying job from here.Even if you are not that skilled,still you would get a decent job.The companies that visited include Deloitte, EY, Harman, Lenovo, Accenture, Air India.etc
Fees and Financial Aid
For management seats which is half of the total seats , the fee is 70000 per year.For Merit seats the fee is 35000 per year.A Caution deposit of 10000 is to paid which will be returned upon completion of course.Other extra fees are all paid within the course fee.
Campus Life
Campus life sucks!. There is hardly any events happening,A tech fest happens once a year and arts and sports competition occurs once a year, Apart from that there is hardly any events occuring.however there are many clubs present like tinkerhub, Foss, iedc.etc , joining clubs would get you some events.
Admission
I initially got admission in Rajagiri and i decided not to join there as is it very strict and thankfully i got admission here in the 2nd allotment . Getting seats for computer science is really hard, you would have to get rank of 2000 below in Keam entrace exam.
Faculty
The faculties here are great, they are well educated and friendly.They are easy to approach and are happy to help with your problems.There are two series (internal) exams before the semester examination.The portions for the exams are completed early on so that we get time to prepare and study.
