Campus life

The course duration is about 2 years. In first semester, their is 1 lab and 5 subjects. In the 2 semester, 1 lab , 4 subjects and a mini project. The 3rd and 4th semester their is decided to do main project and intership. In my opinion, the college should also provide students with the option to choose between an intership or a project.

As part of acedemics, the college allows intership for final year students. Some companies offers stipend but some while other don'. The college provides 2 month period for doing intership. For Mtech students this 2 month period is sheduled during the vaction time

Placement are provided for final year students. Many companies visited the campus like TCS, Microsoft, L & T etc. The average packege offered is about 100000 to 15000 per year. However the percentage of students placed is relatively low, about 50 %

It's a government college so the fees are decided by the government for each semester. During my course time the first semester fees is around 10000 and second semester fees is around 5000. The odd semester fees is higher than the even semester fees. Overallthe annual fees is around 15000, excluding the exam fees.The exam fees is approximately 2500 to 3000. There are also many scholarship avilable, such as scholarship such as E-grants , scholarship from SBI and GATE stipend. GATE qualified students get 12000 per month as stipend

The college offers an excellent campus life. Their are many programes , fest and events. Their are also their many clubs under different streams and branches such as IGS, IEE, IEDC etc. The university library is inside the campus, so a wide range of books is avilabe for students. The college also support sports and other activities.

The college is ranked first in engineering in kerala. Also the faculty members are well qualified. This college is on of the best in pursuing an Mtech. The college also support extracurricular activities and also the campus life is enjoyable.

There are many faculty members and students on the campus . Faculty student ratio is 10:10. The faculty members are highly qualified. For Mtech courses almost all faculty members have phd in their respective streams. For Mtech courses their is 1 internal exam per 1 semester.

The night life around and inside the campus is excellent. Inside the campus their is a physical education department where gym facilities are avilable along with an indore playing area for tennis , basketball etc. The hostel entry time is upto 9.30 pm, so the students can enjoy the night life. There are many hangout spots are avilabe like gazebos , campus friendly postoffice. Inside the postoffice games like chess , carroms ludo, snake and lader etc is avilabe.
