As soon as IIT Palakkad the college courses demand soured and the college programs have become very popular in just short period of the. The college also became the hotspot for recruiters this shows that the college. This shows that the college is not just a new regular IIT or an ordinary IIT The college was ready to compete with the best in the business. After clearing my GATE I applied through the college website and after getting shortlisted on behalf of GATE and academics score I was called for GD and PI rounds and after clearing all those rounds successfully I was allowed admission to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is not only the latest but it matches the international standards. The curriculum provides complete knowledge on data analytics and graph, empirical research, econometrics and many more. The curriculum is a combination of engineering and management knowledge. The faculty is also expert as I did not exp[ected the faculty to be so good as the college was new but the faculty was not only PhD standards but they have really very good industrial exposure which was very helpful for us.
Internships Opportunities
The college has a very good internship program. We can opt for an internship after completing the first year of our program. If any one who is busy in any kind of research activity can skip the internship by providing the relevant documents to the placement committee. The average internship stipend is around 48k.
Placement Experience
In a very short period of time the college us able to match the standards of IIT. Few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the college internship program. The college was able to provide the highest package of around 30 LPA and the average package was 11 LPA. Arista Network, Google, TCS Research, Mckinsey, Honeywell, Texas instruments and Larson and Toubro were the top recruiters. Almost more than 65+ companies participated in the college placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college M.Tech program fees are around 65k and the college average placement package is around 11 LPA it shows that the college has every good return on investment. The scholarship on a financial basis is available and scholarship on a merit base is also available.
Campus Life
The campus life of the college is wonderful. The college provides facilities like a big library, cafeteria-the food in the cafeteria was really very good, big conference hall, auditorium. The college classrooms have modern seating arrangements. The classrooms have equipment like a projector screen and recording equipment to record the teacher's lecture. The college strictly follows a no-ragging policy.
Hostel Facilities
The college has good hostel facilities. Each room has attached bathrooms with it that are clean daily. The hostel wardens and staff is very professional. The hostel discipline is properly maintained. The hostel food is good and the menu keeps on changing at regular intervals. 24 hours of water, power supply and WiFi facility are available. The common room of the hostel has facilities like LCD TV, carrom, table tennis etc. The hostel has all kinds of moderns and basic facilities.
