See faculty is sufficient for all departments but in third semester I got to know chemical branch CT exam were postponed because there syllabus not completed because a teacher left in between of the course and college cannot hire a new professional teacher asap.I think that was a down point. Relationship of faculty is good but some beaches like electrical and electronics have regular classes and strict checking is done . I like cse faculties because they are chill in every expect and do not do strict checking. There are two ct ( class test) and one semester exam and pratical in one semester where ct are of either 20 or30 and there are average are taken and semester is of 70. My cse course is good but I donot prefer students take seat less than electronics should not taken admission.

Annually each Branch held there festival like cs branch has tatraksh, ece have ankuran, mechanical have mech fest.etc there are also other technical festivals held monthly and clubs like Issac provides cash reward for winners. Classroom are not upto date for studying. Projector are of old version and many classes donot have projectors , and I think there is cricket ground, football ground which is regular maintained by gardeners and a indoors basketball sports complex, and a Volleyball court in Ramanujan ground. We can issue equipment in our responsibility if there is any damage we have to pay for that

Campus life, College, decent and typical of a government engineering College social life depends a lot on students own involvement. College organise an annual cultural fest and a technical fest usually held once a year, mostly around the middle or end of the academic session. These events give students a good routine classes and help in interaction with seniors and juniors. The name of fest is anugoonj and held in the month of feb. The library has a sufficient collection of academic books related to engineering subjects. Along with some reference books and journals. It is useful for regular studies, though the range can be im classrooms are basic but functional with projectors and proper seating arrangements. Some classrooms are air condition while others are normal, sports facilities are limited which is common in many government colleges basic indoor sports like badminton are available but outdoor sports options are very few College, few students and technical societies, organised workshops and small events which helps students improve technical and communication skills, overall campus life is average, but managable.

The College provides decent of internship opportunities for student mainly through start-up of few well-known companies. Most student for internship from the second tier, depending on their scale lens interest. The College share Harsh internship opening through notices and placement self from time to time. Many start visit the college of an internship in such as development development, data analysis, Digital marketing and technical sports companies and firms including companies associated with platform like Microsoft, learning programmes or network of providing opportunities mostly in technical and sports roles. Stephen very depending on the company and role, with some internship being paid and oth learning base experience. During internship student work on real project such as building website, developing basic applications and databases testing software working on life, client tasks. These internships help student gain, practical exposure, improve technical skills and strengthen their resumes. Our role internship, portunity or decent, depend individual of effort and skill development.

The faculty to student ratio is nearly 1:75 or 1:80 .Most of the faculty memebers are nice and knowledgable and are student friendly. Some uses questions to explain the topics and show all its variations so that no topic is left untaught. They even give few marks in the internal to make up a higher pointer if the student is lacking by 3-4 numbers. Some faculties are not so nice and they tend to give less marks , very few don't even come to most of the class. BBS is the most infamous of all for not giving marks even if you write enough in the exam. The college semester comprises of 3 main exams: 1st Mid Sem , 2nd Mid Sem and End Semester exam. Mid Semester exams are of 15 marks each and thus totally in the whole result contribute to the 30 out of 100 . The End Semester is of 50 marks . The Internals which include 10 marks of teacher assesment and 5 marks for attendance and 5 for assignments. The pointer system is used and that is multiplied by the subject's credits and divided by the total credits to form the CGPA . The exams are mostly from the class and moderate level some questions are hard , most can be done using the PYQs. 4-5 students only tend to fail to clear the exams. The course is similar to what they teach in NITs .

The annual and technical festivals include : Technical Fests : Techkriti, Technika ( April) Sports Fest : Aagaaz (March) Cultural Fest: Adhyay (March) These fest are at a good level and can be compared to NITs . The library is called Tagore Central Library and has a collection of more than 1 lakh books and ample copies of each so that there is no shortage . Daily magazines , journals etc. are also available. The facilites include white and black boards and smart boards in some classes and a Lecture Hall Complex for the first years students while from second year the students are taught in their respective deparment buildings. The sports acitives are not that developed currently and are under construction or simply lack amenities. There are mainly 9 subcouncils: 1. Technical Sub-Council (Tarang) 2. Yoga Sub-Council 3. Cultural Sub-Council 4. Literary Sub-Council 5. NSS Sub-Council 6. Photography Sub-Council 7.Sports Sub-Council 8.Print & Social Media Sub-Council 9. Hobby Sub-Council (Grovv , Octave) These councils are very active and regulary organise events to keep the students engaged .

Faculties doesn't have any practical knowledge. This semester there's a course called Digital Forensics. In the 1st lecture the faculty told that she is teaching the specific course for the first time and learning it as well. The program co-ordinators are very greedy as well. They just care about their professional profile.They just want to get accredited in government portals by forcing students to enroll in the specific course and select the faculty as mentor. Very hard to find good faculty. You will find good faculty once a year. There are only 2 exams-Midsems and End Sem. Midsem goes smooth while Endsem are random. They give 4-5days study leave between exams and 20days leave before the exams start. And the backlog examinations are placed randomly-some are before the endsems and some are after. They dont check the papers properly. Fail students intentionally. And every year the student portal gets changed. I am in Third year and this is my 4-5th student portal. It either gets hacked or the college doesnt pay the software contractor and they cutoff the portal.

Clubs are dead. The campus life is also bad as there's no common area where students can chill out/play sports. The infrastructure is pretty bad. There are different buildings for first year students and seniors. In First year we were having class in a very old building. After that we were shifted to a slightly new building. It was very open and very spacious. After that we were shifted to this newly constructed buildings specially for CSE Students. This is the most poorly constructed building i have ever visited. There's no cellular connectivity. There are only 4 lifts among 1000 students.

Each year you have to pay 254000 for the course fees and for the hostel it depends on the room size double seater triple seater etc There's no any lab fees and compulsory charges are examination fees which is instructed by the affiliated university which is guru gorakhnath university gorakhpur Everyone have to pay the same fees regardless of their categories For the scholarship you can go through up scholarship programs and college will help you with this

So there are no such events like concerts or big events but ya there are few cultural events and annual programs in which you can enjoy with full of your heart Most of the books and journals are there in the library itself regarding our course Facilities and technology are good to go but they can improve it better Sports curriculum like spardha is being held in which a lot of other college participates and give a tough competition in each sport

The faculties are easily approachable . You can easily ask questions and doubts . My fav teacher is maths teacher. His way of teaching is so amazing ???? like no one else can teach like him . He is so good teacher . There is one teacher I don't like because she is like in favour of boys. They are difficult as compared to aktu so you are well prepared for exams .

There are scholarship for direct admission too but the students shouldn't come under general category.

The placement is not very good but if you are a decent student you will land a campus placement. Although it's not much (around 4 lpa) but it's not that bad considering it's college fee. Most of the students of this college are preparing for government exams, GATE etc as the attendance policy is not strict so you get plenty of time to prepare for it.

The course is quite relevant I feel. It's almost similar to every other college in India. The timing of college is from 10 am to 4 pm. There are a total of 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exam in each semester. Although i feel there should give an internship opportunity to students from 5th semester which is missing.

My overall campus life experience was decent. The college environment was friendly and students were supportive. There were some cultural activities and occasional events during the session, and students could participate in group activities. The library had basic books related to the course and journals for reference. Classrooms were clean and the labs were available for practical sessions. Sports facilities were limited but students could take part in indoor games and small activities. There were student groups and social interaction was good, though more clubs and regular fests would make campus life better.

Faculty members were helpful and approachable in my college. Teachers explained topics in a simple way and cleared doubts in class. The faculty student ratio was okay and most teachers were regular. The course structure was based on core computer subjects like programming, basic IT, and practical lab work. Exams were held on time with internal assessment plus semester exams. Marking system was fair and based on written exam, attendance and practical performance. Overall, the syllabus was useful but more practical coding practice and project work should be added for better learning.

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

My overall campus life at Indus University has been engaging and well-rounded socially. The environment is friendly and students interact across departments, making networking and teamwork, easy. The University host and annual cultural fest, Indus Utsav in February and technical fest technovation around October providing great exposure and entertain entertainment.

The faculty-to-student ratio is quite good. Several faculty members in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department are very talented and knowledgeable, such as Manish Zadoo, Ajay Suri, Kamal Bhatia, Ranjeeta Yadav, and Pooja Pathak. However, some faculty may mislead students by pretending to be knowledgeable when they are not.

Placement opportunities are sufficient to cover many technical and non-technical roles. You are eligible for 100+ companies in many niche domains. All the major mass recruiters have tied-up with the college and many startups too.

Campus life was good, during school days i was a little scared and unsure how its gonna be because as we all see in movies and web series i wanted it a little bit like that. wanted to have a group and friends to hang out with. And it all went like that there were fresher parties every year and annual functions and similar acticities like drama clubs used to perform acts in auditorioum so we all used to go there. sports etc were little bit neglected i think, merely we saw any such activities regarding sports. there were diff clubs like drama clubs, dance society and environment runs.

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

courses are designed in such a way the outcomes of the lectures are very positive in nature and even the students are very much intrested in the classes they also provide training study seminars and study tours. they also helps students in the skill development and online certification frim platforms like linkdin learning and h avard business school.

internships in the university are maindaitory part of the curriculam for the time period of 6 to 12 months and the university has direct links to the industry and through that the students get pklaced in thr very good companies with a average stipend of 15k to 35k per month and the students get full time placements via PRE PLACEMENTS OFFERS (PPO)

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges,and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Our college offers internships with local companies like xyz tech and abc solution, plus come MNCs. Roles include software developer, data analyst, and marketing intern, with stipends 10000- 20000 Rs / month. It's a great way to build skills and get industry exposure without leaving the city. Many students get PPOs too! Good for local networking.

there are experienced faculty members for every subject and they all are very well qualified and have done phd in their respective subjects. there are atleast 10 teachers for a subject in which 5 are female and rest are male. every student is free to contact any teacher any time for thier doubts or some carrier guidance. the teachers are really very supportive and kind. my phsyics teacher in last semester was one of them having all the qualities mentioned above by me. exams are taken regularly and are of moderate level which tests the knowledge of student the question paper is designed in such a way that it covers every type of aspect taught in class and also checks the thinking ability of students and thier practical approach.

the uniqueness of my stream attracted me to pursue this course and the cirriculum followed here is very much relevant in industries and also in practical life. special focus on skills rather than just theory makes hbtu different from other colleges.Cirriculum is designed in such a way that no student can feel left out after 4 years when he goes or placement. Exams are taken regularly and in very good manner. proper time is given for preparing every subject and there is 24x7 help available from seniors and professors all previous year question papers are easily available on the college website along with that all subject handwritten and printed notes are also available.

College provides decent placement. For it and software sector placement here is quite good but for core beaches placement is average but still lots of companies for core beaches come. Nearly 105 companies have already visited our college as per the current placement cell information. Placement percentage is nearly 80 percent overall and for it beaches it is nearly 90 percent Average package is 6 lpa Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semister

Campus life is average as their isn't lot of things but college organise various cultural and technical fest each year like xtacy , perception (technical fest) . college also do various state and national level competitions like hakathons There is a lot of clubs for various branches like energy club, aerospace club, dance club Also the college organise sports events like engineers cup and support extracurricular activities of students

I got my course by mistake beacuse of filling a bit wrong prefernce sheet. The curriculum is really doomed and needs to change, 7 subjects each sem, doesn't make any sense, 90 marks end sem paper, 70 internal making grand total of 160, making life hectic. The college should be like student friendly cause this is the time when students are going out of the bubble and have to fo eca and you are just stopping him by doing these things. The teaching methods are good but the curriculum is bad . They should go for grand total 100 consiting of 50 theory: 50 intrnal. Update the curriculum regularly and teach those things that are useful in real world not some fuvcked up bullshit things.

There are lots of annual fest and sub annual fest held in my college. various scoieties organise them, but in this session the principal of our college has kind of banned everything and that's hampring the eca of the college. The libarary is has a vast variety and accessible to all. The fcailities and tech are good in classes like smartboards in some classes, projector in each class. Sports and eca are okay in the college. The student run societies impact students by interacting them with real life scenarios and getting them a bit prepared for the future.

The practicals are conducted in a very formal method with perfect eye on students and invigalating them each classroom has 2 teachers that keep an eye on students and one teacher keeps a round externally practicals are conducted again if some atudents are absent due to some internal valid reason moot court practice is conducted once a sem and the exams are officially conducted by the university rules the papers are also designed by the university and then given to the students and all the rules are given by the univeraity ehich are to be followed by the teachers as well as students the students who are not able to attend this exams are to be failed and have to give reexams any reason shall not ne considered valid even the viva and internals are taken in a very formal manner strictly the teachera are particular about the quality of atudyi g also the teachers are helpful you can ask them wuestions they shall provode you important questions which you shall focus on more the librarians are very very sweet for yhe law department there is a lift in the college whi h is also looked after by the staff even they are very approacable and sweet the staff faculty member are very helpful even you can approach the principla that is devnani sir who is very approachable amd sweet mansi mam ia also very very sweet

I paid 36000 fees as the whole college fees at the time of taking admission that is the college fees that we are required to pay for a year but after that the college has asked us to pay extra fees for all the other events such as examination fees is taken separately from us moot court fees examination enrollment fees that too everything compulsory in cash and the college has also asked 5000 rupees as deposit which will be refundable I paid 1500 for examination fees 700 for moot court fees 1200 for examination enrollment fees

The Aktu aligned curriculum is theoretically strong and comprehensive, which influenced my choice due to its structured syllabus and clear academic path. It prepares well for GATE higher studies and core fundamentals but real world readiness needs self learnings, projects, internships. Improvement is needed in industry oriented subjects, coding-labs , live projects, and modern tools. Exams include 3 mid sems and 1 end sems per sem difficulty is moderate . mangeable with regular studies but concept clarity is essential.

B.Tech total fee is about Rs5.0-6.6 L for 4 years(~ Rs1.3-1.7L/yr; incl.tution ~Rs 1.1L + caution & other academic charges). Tuition, registration, development, lab & refundable caution deposit apply. Fees have been stable/slightly adjusted year to year . Hostel Rs 1.09-1.69L/yr extra . SC/ST/OBC govt scholarships & merit/need-based aid(up to full partial tuition waiver) are offered; maintenance support possible for EWS/SC/ST. Merit cum need & central/state schemes available subject to eligibility.

As a current student, I’d say this college is genuinely good overall, but not perfect. The best part is the academics and exposure. Most professors are knowledgeable and helpful if you actually approach them with doubts. The curriculum is fairly updated and focuses on practical understanding, not just theory. Labs and classrooms are well maintained, and you get decent access to equipment and resources for projects. There are plenty of clubs, technical events, and fests, so if you’re proactive you can build strong skills and a good network. Placements are solid for core branches and decent for others, with multiple companies visiting every year. The campus environment is competitive in a healthy way, which pushes you to improve. Infrastructure is another strong point. The campus is clean, organized, and has good internet, library, and study spaces. Hostels are manageable and safe. You won’t struggle for basic facilities like food, transport inside campus, or medical help. Now the weaker side. Not every faculty member teaches with the same quality or energy, so sometimes you end up relying on self-study. Administration work can be slow and bureaucratic when it comes to documents or approvals. During peak exam or fest times, things get crowded and resources like labs or common areas feel insufficient. Also, if you’re expecting constant hand-holding for internships or career guidance, you won’t get it automatically; you have to chase opportunities yourself. In short: if you’re lazy, you’ll feel average here. If you’re self-driven, this place gives you enough tools, exposure, and opportunities to do very well.

Campus life is active and social. Students mix through clubs and events. Technical and cultural fests held yearly. These usually happen in winter months. Fests bring competitions and workshops. They improve teamwork and confidence. Library has good core subject books. Limited latest journals are available. Digital access helps for research work. Classrooms have projectors and smart boards. WiFi works well in most blocks. Labs have basic but usable equipment. Sports grounds support many games. Gym and courts are open daily. Coding and robotics clubs are popular. Cultural clubs handle music and dance. Student groups run events independently. Overall life feels engaging and balanced.

In last 3-4 months;there have occurred so much function,but there are only main 2 from them,One is HUNAR in october 2025,that was small function,but it was fantastic and second one was Youth Fest in december 2025,it was big one and I enjoy also there.Mine library did not have any book,but it has space to study there.There is also a NCC ground in my college,there students learn to join army and also basketball ground to play basketball

For each forty students;there is always 2 teachers and we can contact to any teacher anytime,but only offlines,once I called her online,they scold me for this.My favourite is maths mam,because she solve my all doubts.I hate my VAC computer teacher,because he scold all teachers for no readon.I have eight subject;but end of each semester;I have to give 4 papers.Approx 60% students fail.
