MNNIT -truly for engineers

I have qualified JEE mains to get into MNNIT. My score in JEE was 209 out of 360 and AIR was approx 6000. I have to opt CSE branch and I was not getting CSE in top 3 NITs i.e. Trichy, Warangal, and Surathkal, that's why I opted CSE in the 4th best NIT(as per student choice).

Yes, this college provides internship during vacations and also provide shelter during that time. Since I am a 1st-year student I have not done any internship yet. But our seniors told that the internship provided here are quite good.

Placement in CSE and IT branch are excellent where an average package is approx 13.5 lacs per annum. Placement of ECE branch is also very satisfying with a very good average package. Placement in Chemical branch is also excellent. Here students of core branches generally prepare for civil service examinations so those branches have low placement.

College fests, these are the most joyful period for the whole year. Swagat is the fresher's function, Avishkar is techno-management fest, Annual Athlete meet, Culrav is a cultural fest of MNNIT. All events and fest of MNNIT are large and grand. Students very eagerly participate in these events.

Every NIT has almost same fee structure as per the government order. Those whose parents income are less than 1lac/annum doesn't have to pay tuition fee and those whose parents income are less than 5 lac/annum have also concession. So the fee is not a very big deal to study in MNNIT.

If you are taking admission in such a prestigious college any bank will easily provide you a loan. And there are many state and national scholarships are there but still, if any student is not getting any type of scholarship then the college will provide them with a scholarship.

Campus life in this college is truly what one called a true college life. Other than academics you will find lots of activities like sports, quiz, debates, dancing, singing, startups, robotics, aeromodelling etc. Everything has a well-structured club. You will have ample of opportunity to learn the various thing other than academics.

1st-year hostel named Swami Vivekananda boys hostel is very large and grand with every modern facility. Other hostels are very old so they lack modern facilities but they are under renovation so after some days they will also become excellent. Two hostels (one boy and one girl) are under construction. Foods provided here are good but the only veg. You have to go to restaurants regularly if you are chicken freak.

Seniors are the best thing that this college is blessed with. I don't think that any college is blessed as much as this college with such helpful seniors. They provide so much of their knowledge and experiences to us so that we can do well in future.MNNIT is ragging free college. And its seniors are the best.

In every semester a mid sem exam and end sem exam happens here. So in total, a person has to sit 16 times in examination hall during his/her college life if he/she clears all paper well. Examinations are quite fair and transparent. Level of questions that are asked really very good.

After cracking jee with decent score,you have to go through councelling processes where you have to choose what you want.And then you have to go your nearest NIT for submission.Then you have to report the college you get and there you have to verify your documents.These processess are little time consuming you will feel that the system must choose some alternative for this.
