Good Faculty but not so good placement

The syllabus is updated on the basis of NEP and is made by the best professors. The syllabus is different from AKTU syllabus as many people think both universities have same syllabus. Regular workshop and active club of the college will make you get ready for the placement.

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Adani are the top recruiters here but many other companies also visit here. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has its own dedicated placement cell other than Central placement cell of University of Lucknow. Approximately 70% students at placed in every batch with a median package of 3.5 LPA, and Highest package of 12 LPA.

I am from BTech CSE of Batch 2023-27. As per I have seen the campus the campus looks decent and have many faculties here such as IMS, LAW, Tourism,etc. Faculty of Engineering and Technology doesn't have its own dedicated canteen but there are 3 canteens in the campus. The FoET has 2 buildings old and new block.

The addmission process is very simple, you need to give JEE mains examination and then you need to participate in UPTAC counselling. There are some direct addmission seats also but chances of getting it is very less as the direct addmission are held on the basis of seats left after UPTAC counselling.

2 sessional examination every semester of 20 marks each, the sessional examination depends on your teaching professor. End Term examination is of 70 marks and 30 marks internal which includes seasonal marks, assignment, attendance. The Faculty is very well experienced and dedicated, this is something which is above average than any other university.

For addmission you only need to give Jee mains and then apply for UPTAC counselling which is conducted by AKTU. The cutoff is very much similar to BIET Jhansi. The direct addmission is also given based on the vacant seats after UPTAC.

Nightlife for girls is not available girls have to back to there hostel by 8pm in summer & 7pm in winter. Boys can have fun in university playground which has cricket ground and volleyball court. Gym timming for girls is 4-5pm and 5-6pm for boys. The hostels also have its own open gym inside hostels. The campus have 2 gates, front gate is open 24×7 while back gate closes at 7pm. The campus is situated in Lucknow so you can hangout in famous places like Janeshwar Mishra Park, Imambara, Hazratganj, etc. where you can easily get auto from both the gates of the campus.
