- one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
- IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
- another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy
Dislikes
- compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
- hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
- most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts
Placement Experience
student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %
Fees and Financial Aid
so first semester fees is 146000 for all category students then 123700 per sem that makes 247400 per year excluded first sem without hostels. hostel fee for first year is 21240 per sem included 2 seater room , wifi, table , almirah, chair, and mess fees is 15000 per sem mess food is good here is a fee structure admission fee :1500 caution fee : 2000 enrollment fee : 1000 id card fee : 1000 alumini fund : 3000 devlopment and maintenance fee : 10000 one more important thing to not is that iiit Lucknow does not provide any fee relaxation based on category the fees structure is uniform for all student in respective of their category
Campus Life
there are no fest in this college the only best I attend is Ganesh chaturthi and freshers party the library is good there are so many books to read they are many clubs like drama music debate club coding club there are no mechanical and robotics club
Hostel Facilities
from first year we get two seater room included table chair bed the hostel is located around 1.5 km away from main campus and from 2nd year onward we get 8 to 12 peoples dormitories hall One thing that really surprised me at IIIT Lucknow is the quality of the mess food. In most engineering colleges, the mess is usually one of the biggest complaints among students, but here it is actually much better than expected. The food served is hygienic, freshly prepared
Admission
i choose this college only because of the placements line avg is 33lpa i got eee in nit delhi but the placements wasn't that good you need atleast 12k + rank in jee mains on safer side to get admission in this clg
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is reasonable, but the issue lies more in the teaching approach rather than numbers. In general, the relationship between students and faculty is quite formal. Most professors are not very approachable beyond classroom lectures. They come, deliver their slides, and leave. Doubt-clearing sessions or mentorship outside classes are rare, so students rely heavily on seniors, peers, and self-study There are usually two main exams per semester (Mid-Semester and End-Semester), along with assignments, quizzes, and lab evaluations. The difficulty level is moderate to tough depending on the subject
Night Life
the campus has its own gym cafeteria library and public area which is opened anytime for student who live in campus the campus size is around 50 acres famous hangout places are lulu mall , stadium , passio mall
