Likes

My college has good placements even during recession.
Very strict in academics and there is no ragging.
First year hostel is very nice and clean.

Dislikes

Our college conduct very less amount of events.
There are no clubs in this college and very less sports facilities.
Too many restrictions and if you want to achieve anything you have to do it by yourself.

Course Curriculum Overview

I personally did not like the course curriculum because it has no relevance and even there is no point to do some subjects at this point of time. Subjects like physics, chemistry must be removed from Bachelors of Technology.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in our college and from 6th semester students get eligible for the placements. There are many companies visiting in our college like Delloite, TATA, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizaznt, Wipro and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am in 2026 batch and in my current fees is 1,00,000, my registration fees is 20000, admission fees is 10000, development fees is 5000, lab fees is 8000 and spors fees is 12000. My other batchmaes have same fee sttructure. There are no scholarship scheme in our college.

Campus Life

Zero. In my college there no college life, there is only acadmics There are no supportive communities or clubs. There is only one event in the whole year and that to is freshers. There is restriction on playing with colors on HOLI.

Hostel Facilities

First year college hostel was good, with some restrictions like coming before 8 pm inside the campus, water quality is very bad. Second year college hostel is even more worse with horrible mess and hygine.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I chose this college over the other colleges I applied to because my JEE rank was very low and at that puticular rank this was the best college of that time. No I did not got rejection from other colleges I had applied to.

Faculty

In our college, 20 percent college faculty is very good but the rest of the 80 percent is average. In my department, Attiutama maam has very nice nature and very suppotive. In my department, Anand is very bad teacher, absolutely non-supportive.

Night Life

NO, there is no night as well as day life. Girls are not allowed to walk n the campus after 6 pm. Even no sports facilities have been given to them. Only one sports teacher in whole college. No famous hangout place in our college.

The Placement In all the Branch is really impressive except civil branch , CSE & IT has offer per student placement of 2 to 3 Companies and average package of 5 to 6 lakh, while in ther branches 90% of student get placed with average package og 3.6 lakh , oly civil suffer in placement with only sucess rate og nearly 30%.

Placement Experience:

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

By the way ,the placement rate in this college of 95% for CSE .Almost all students in the college get placed in reputed companies and a minimum of 75% is required in the semesters for placement.The highest placement package in this college has reached 19 lakhs per years and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year.Additionally students in this college also have the opportunity to interns as part of their academics experience.

The admission process in this institute is quite satisfactory, my admission is done here by aktu councelling process which was based on my jee mains performance, in this college maximum seats are alloted through councelling process and few are through management quota, for this one can apply on gl bajaj official website or can contact to college after the councelling process ends because some vacant seats are filled through management quota. As a btech student of gl bajaj I suggest the college to provide some more freedom to students ,especially for 1st year students ,also no. of fests and cultural program should increase and dress code system should be removed bcoz it makes us to feel that we are in school life...
