GL Bajaj - Everything you need to know!

The aktu course curriculum is very outdated, honestly it is not very worth to study if at last all we need to do a job in IT sector. Sometimes its feel okay but sometimes it is very hard to even understand the subjects but atlast mostly every student pass the end sem exam so it is fine. They should definitely add some more technical subject and practical coding subject to the curriculum which is the real industry skill to survive in the market. 1 exam held in every one month of each semester, which is not very hard , we can pass easily studying 2-3 days before the exam

I did not got any opportunity to do the internship as there is not much internship opportunity available in our college. But 2 of my batchmates got an offer from morgan stanly at 80k stipend per month.

Students become eligible from 7th semester only for placements. There multiple companies that visit in gl bajaj. Some of them are accenture, thales, epam, ey, capgemini, tcs, wipro and so manu others. I am currently placed in accenture, the result announced yesterday only. Highest package this year made was 57 lakh by a giel in meesho. And average package i would say would be about 5-6 lakh My plan after degree is to so a job in IT sector only

The total year wise fees paid by me was 159000 lakh for the first year and 149000 for the next 3 years. It includes all the fees written above. Fees for every category is same. There is UP scholarship available between 40000-120000 per year depending on the category. For army brats, there is PMSS available. The amount is 30000 for boys per year and 36000 for girls.

There are not so much fest happening in Gl bajaj but every year a grand freshers party and a dandiya night get organized which is quite fascinating. There are not much technical feat happen either, only 1-2 per year. Library is well maintained and a very cozy place to study. Availability of books is also quite good. The classroom are quite old and even without AC, the new building that just got made have very well functionned classes and have AC also in every class. Sport facility is good and the sport incharge sonu sharma sir also very active when aktu zonals came and prepare students for the fest. There is some branch wise clubs but they are not much active as of now, just for the name sake.

I have applied to Galgotias university and they were easily giving me admission as i scored 93 percent in my 12th but when i asked them about their placement, they were completely blank. Then i somehow entered in Gl bajaj and that was a quite good decision for my career as there placements are very good compared to other collges of greater noida. I didnt get any rejection from any college i applied to. My admission in gl bajaj was done purely on merit basis, i took direct admission through boards marks .

In my class there was nearly 70 students, and there was one teacher available for every subject. I really like Manvinder sir , he used to teach us physics in first semester. Very cool he was. There is another nitin tyagi sir who used to teach us DBMS, very strict but the knowledge that guy has is commandable. I never liked shushmita mam, always used to taunt for the attendance and even used to cut extra marks in sessional but never said any reason. There is 2-3 sessinals conduct in college for every semester, not very hard to pass . Study before 1 week and you will pass.

No i did not face any gd, interview, or any other test for my admission. The admission process was very simple and complete merit based. I took admission from direct seat which they provide after seeing 12 pcm marks.

The college is present in knowledge park 3 which is a students hub so there is so much to do outside of college , there is planty of cafes like paintra is a very famous spot for outdoor and late night eatings. There is a gym available im college but not in a much good condition but there are so many gyms present in the college area itself so no need to worry for gym. The college library is very good. The locality is quite safe for boys but for girls it is not much safe after 10 pm.
