Course Curriculum Overview

4

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 1,40,400 for first year and 2-3k for some forms. I have taken direct admission and fess for direct and counseling both are same and i dont know much about management. Ofcs there is less fees for fw students. As of scholarships there come mamy for different criteria based on annual income other than i dont know anything about scholarship. And you get all necessary information on your college mail id.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is really amazing i can say that much you arr going to enjoy of college life to fullest here. There are many small fests going on in college in every few weeks for hostellers, and its generally one main fest epox every year , its very huge and amazing last year jubin nautiyal came as guest . There are 4 canteens and a cafeteria you can visit in lunch and bunk time. There are many clubs of all types -of each sport, technical clubs, creative clubs like that of dance, singing, speaking, etc. There is no lack in terms of campus life.

Admission

I chose kiet over other colleges such as (akg, abesec glb) because of placements went from kiet last year. Also my sister who passed out from here suggested my kiet. Of course some ipu colleges and and there other universities better than kiet but i couldn't clear their criteria and some were out of budget like jaypee. I have taken direct admission which was based on boards marks and a admission test instead of jee percentile from counseling. Fees is same for both counseling and direct admissions. For ece it was 80% in boards and 90-95% above for cs related branches.

Faculty

3

Most of faculty is really nice, they are supportive and will help you with your studies even after college hours. They will help you clear your diubts and actually teach same thing many times in class if even one student didn't get it. Of course there are some exceptions. There are 2-3 teacher in my branch that are really rude, annoying they wont guide you little but they are always ready to cut marks and give unnecessary lecture. And its hard to remove them because of lack of unity in class. There are now 2 mid sems(ct) 3-4 CA and 1 end sem exam system now.

Interview Experience

3

Yes since i have taken direct admission there was one admission test based on physics chapters of 12th syllabus and english writing. Its level was moderate-high according to me, for me it was like surprise test since i wasn't notified about it in advance and just gave it from what i remember from board exam preparation.

Night Life

4

I am day scholar so i myself have nit experienced but there are always some club or hostel fest or activities happening in evening time. As if hangout places there are many canteen, sports ground in college also locality around college is safe in evening time. Day scholars are allowed in campus till 5pm and its your choice if you dont leave and if you are part of some club there timing varies generally about till 7 pm and of hostel i think it was about 11pm for boys.

I give some information about of placements at UIT Allahabad are limited, with few companies visiting the campus and average packages are modest, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities. To improve employability, students focus on internships, coding skills, projects, and certifications.
