Course Curriculum Overview
1.I have selected this course as the content of this course incloude relevant core subject and basic practical education required for the field in which I will be working in near future. 2. The syllabus provides a good foundation of thoery and practice. The students are prepared for the entry-level jobs or more study, althrough there is a need for self-practice and project completion. 3. Additional industry-based projects, workshops, and exposure would further enhance the learning experience. 4. The course will have 2 internal exams and a final exam in each of the 2 semesters. Exams will be conducted regularly, with a fair level of difficulty. Students are expected to perform well by studying regularly.
Internships Opportunities
Guidance on internship is provided from the 2nd/3rd year. Roles on offer: Web development, software support, digital marketing; stipend Rs. 5k-8k month. Students work on the basic projects like websites, testing and documentation.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college fee is 80,000 rupees per year, which includes tution, admission, lab, and other compulsory charges. The fee is almost the same every year. My hostel fee is 58,000 rupees per year, including mess charges. So the total yearly cost is around 1.38 lakh, and the complete course cost is approximately 5-5.5 lakh including hostel. Student from SC/ST/OBC categories get government scholarships and fee reimbursement, so some of them pay less after scholarship benefits.
Campus Life
Campus life is friendly, and annual cultural and technical fest are feld twice a year at the end of each semester. The library has good academicbooks and journals available for the students. There are basic facilities in the classroms like projectors, labs, or Wi-Fi, which are used for learning. Sports, cultural activities, and student clubs are available, which help students stay socially active.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are furnished with basic facilities such as beds, tables, chairs, fans, cupboards, electricity, and water. Mess food is average and the weekly mess menu is fixed. The registration of the students in the hostel is simple. The fee is about Rs 58000 annually Hostel is located close to campus in a good location
Admission
1. I choose this college because it offers my course at an affordable fee, has a good academic environment, and is convenient in terms of location compared to other nearby colleges. 2. I explored a few other colleges and had admission options, but i preferred this one due to better affordability and overall comfort. I did not face major rejection from other colleges. 3. The admission process was simple and smooth. Eligibilty was passing 12th with required marks, and admission was mainly based on merit followed by document verification and fee submission
Faculty
1. The student to faculty ratio is around 1 to 25-30. The teachers are approachable, having a good faculty-student relationship. 2. My favourite faculty is Mr. Rahul Srivastava sir, as he is supportive and friendly, and also explains things clearly. 3. I haven't encountered any serious negative experience from the faculty. I believe teachers are cooperative. 4. Each semester has 2 internals + 1 final exam. Exams are moderate and require knowledge, but all pass with regular study. The course is relevant and of practical use.
Night Life
campus is quiet after dark, library, cafeteria close in evening. In-time at hostels is around 7-8 PM Students relax in hostels, canteen, or nearby cafes/food stalls Common hangouts include the college canteen. The place is safe during evening, and students tend to return prior to hostel timing.
