Course Curriculum Overview
The college's curriculum was outdated when linked to AKTU. However, starting this session, the college has become autonomous, and I am unaware of the new syllabus and course structure they have developed.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are sufficient to cover many technical and non-technical roles. You are eligible for 100+ companies in many niche domains. All the major mass recruiters have tied-up with the college and many startups too.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid Rs. 128,600 per year for the course. Many scholarship opportunities are available based on caste and financial condition. You can also apply under the FEE-WAIVER category, which requires excellent academic records.
Campus Life
I think you shouldn't expect from the annual fest GENERO as it is held after 3-4 years. The campus is mid size with 2 canteens and 1 juice corner. All the classrooms are equipped with AC and smart projectors.
Admission
Actually i was admitted to this college as a part of UPTAC counselling and this college was on my preference number 2 after AKGEC. I chose this college because it has tremendous academic excellence and placement records.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is quite good. Several faculty members in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department are very talented and knowledgeable, such as Manish Zadoo, Ajay Suri, Kamal Bhatia, Ranjeeta Yadav, and Pooja Pathak. However, some faculty may mislead students by pretending to be knowledgeable when they are not.
Night Life
There is no such nightlife; everything gets closed during the night. The timings for the girls' hostel are 7 PM in summers and 6 PM in winters. However, the hostel campus is awake the entire night. There is a canteen also inside the hostel campus where you can have all kinds of food alongwith the vending machine for chips and drinks.
