- limited campus life and fests , fewer cultural events compared to other uni and clgs
- Teaching quality varies with faculty , some prog are excellent and while other rely too much on theory

Course Curriculum Overview
The Aktu aligned curriculum is theoretically strong and comprehensive, which influenced my choice due to its structured syllabus and clear academic path. It prepares well for GATE higher studies and core fundamentals but real world readiness needs self learnings, projects, internships. Improvement is needed in industry oriented subjects, coding-labs , live projects, and modern tools. Exams include 3 mid sems and 1 end sems per sem difficulty is moderate . mangeable with regular studies but concept clarity is essential.
Internships Opportunities
AT ABES Engineering College, ineternship are facilitated through the Training & Placements cell and MoUs with industry partners. Companies and roles with stipend TCS- digital/it intern(Rs8k-15k) Infosys- system/Java intern(10k-15k) Wipro- testing / data intern (8k-12k)
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. Reecruiter lile TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and cognizant with multiple offers. Highest package ranges (Rs 30LPA) off campus is more, average 6lpa arounde 70-80% students got placed. I plan to upskill gain industry exp and later pursue higher studies or better off campus roles.
Fees and Financial Aid
B.Tech total fee is about Rs5.0-6.6 L for 4 years(~ Rs1.3-1.7L/yr; incl.tution ~Rs 1.1L + caution & other academic charges). Tuition, registration, development, lab & refundable caution deposit apply. Fees have been stable/slightly adjusted year to year . Hostel Rs 1.09-1.69L/yr extra . SC/ST/OBC govt scholarships & merit/need-based aid(up to full partial tuition waiver) are offered; maintenance support possible for EWS/SC/ST. Merit cum need & central/state schemes available subject to eligibility.
Campus Life
Campus life is disciplined with moderate social exposure.Annual fest Enigma and tech fest TechYuva are usually held between Feb-March. The lib has good access to textbooks, reference books, e journals, and digital databases . Classrooms are equipped with projectors smart boards wifi . sports include cricket football badminton indoor games
Admission
I chose ABES Engineering College over other options due to its balanced academics, location adv, and stable placements. I applied to colleges like KIET Ghaziabad and Galgotia Uni ; got confirmed admission in Galgotias but preferred ABES for its stricter academic and faculty reputation. I couldn't make it to KIET due to a lower JEE Main Rank, Admission at ABES is through counselling as now it is also autonomous .
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is moderate most teachers are approachable and help with doubts. Strong prof in core subs stand out for clarity; a few rely on rigid theory. No specific names can be given . Exams follow AKTU pattern with midterms and sem finals; moderate to tough for many. Pass rate is decent but depends on effort . Curriculum is standard but industry relevance varies so self learning helps.
Night Life
Nightlife is quiet and restricted. Campus closes by 9-10pm ; lib and cafeteria is shut by evenings , gyms by 8om. Hostels have strict timing. Students unwind at RDC Ghaziabad, Gaur City nearby cafes , street food joints or malls like shipra mall.
