Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers the core fundamentals of Information Technology and provides a good theoretical foundation. However, it is not fully aligned with current industry requirements, so students need to learn modern technologies and build projects independently. The college conducts two internal examination followed by end semester university exam with overall difficulty being moderate.
Placement Experience
students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, HCL, Capgemini, Wipro etc regulalry visits the campus. The average package is around 4-6 lpa while the highest package varies each year. Around 70% of the students gets placed especially in CS allied branches. I plan pursue software engineering role after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total tuition fees that I will be paying in my 4 years is around 5.5 to 6 lakhs approximately excluding hostel and personal expenses. Additional charges such as exam fee, security deposits may apply. Scholarhsips are available through Uttar Pradesh State scholarship scheme for eligible students based on category and family income. The Scholarship ranges from 57000-64000 for General(EWS) and OBC, while around 1 lakh for SC/ST.
Campus Life
campus life is enjoyable, with a good balance of academic and extracuricular activites. the college organizes annual cultural and techincal fests usually during winter months along with regular club events and workshops all over the academic session. The library has a wide collection of academic books, jounals and digital courses. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and wi-fi facilities. Students can participate in sports, cultural events and many other activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are decent (if chosen 4 seater) but 3 seater rooms feels like a very small space for 3 people, its so small even for 2 people. They provide individual almirah , desk , chair for each student.Wi-fi is also available 24/7.Hostel is not affordable compared to private PGs nearby, to be honest private PGs are much more affordable compared to hostel. The PGs available just behind the college or 200m radius.
Admission
I chose this college because of its better placement record, infrastructure and overall reputation among private colleges affiliated with AKTU. I also had admission offers form a few other private colleged but this college seemed like the better option in terms of academis and career opportunities.
Faculty
The faculty members are generally approachable and supportive, though teaching quality varies across subjects. The course follows the AKTU curriculum, which is more theory-based than practical. There are two internal exams, practical assessments and one end semester university exam. The exams are moderate difficulty and students who study regulalry can pass without much trouble.
Night Life
night life around the campus is fairly quite. Most students spend their evening at the college cafeteria, ground or swimming pool or with friends in hostel. The academic buildings gets closed by 6 pm and library will remain open upto 8pm. Popular hangout spots outside college is Crossing Republik or market area near Paramount.
