NEET SS Rank Predictor: Tie-Breaking Criteria

You must be wondering what will be your rank if you and other students also received the same score. In such cases, the NEET Counselling tie breaking criteria come into play. In case of a tie in NEET SS exam scores, the following criteria will be used to determine the rank order:

• Candidates with fewer incorrect answers in the NEET SS exam will be ranked higher in the rank list.
• If the first criterion does not resolve the tie, the candidate who has obtained more marks in Section B of the NEET SS exam will be given a higher rank.
• In case the marks in Section B are also the same for the candidates, the accuracy (fewer incorrect answers) will be considered, and the candidate with higher accuracy will be ranked above.
• If none of the above criteria break the tie, then the candidate who is older in age will be given a higher rank in the NEET SS rank list.

Documents Required for NEET SS Counselling

The following documents are required for the NEET SS admission process:

• Provisional Allotment Letter issued by MCC
• Admit Card issued by NBE
• Result/Rank Letter issued by NBE
• MBBS Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate.
• MD/MS/DNB Degree Certificate in the relevant Specialty.
• Permanent Registration Certificate of MBBS/MS/DNB issued by MCI or NBE/State Medical Council.
• High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth.
• Carry one identification proof (ID Proof) mentioned in the NEET SS Information Bulletin (PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhar Card) to the allotted college during the admission process.
