Rabindranath Tagore Medical College popularly known as RNT Medical College is a government medical college established in the year 1961 situated in Udaipur, Rajasthan and is affiliated to the Rajasthan Institute of Health Sciences. Library: The library is built in a 3 floor building and has more than 29000 Books and 18000 Bound Journal Library, also has more than 100 (55 National+ 45 International) periodicals.The college has also provided an E-Library facility, which provides access to 2500 online books.
Residential Facilities: RNT Medical College has accommodation facilities for the students. Each hostel also has a Mess facility. There are a total of 6 hostels with a PG Boys hostel for 183 students, Sr. Boys Hostel for 201 students, Jr. Boys hostel for 96 students, PG Girls hostel for 50 students, Sr. Girls hostel for 96 students and Jr. Girls hostels for 53 students.

Academic structure of the college

when I enter the college, I think from the starting our curriculum is based mainly on studies. But on the other side it may extra. It may also conduct extra curricular activities like we are having the scripts and dramas and dances and we have dry fresh party and all in the college is very very very neat. They are taking exams and the weekly test and the end of the month. These they are taking us semesters and they are taking four type of exam in the whole year. First, they take semester one PUC and then UC is like last university exams, then you entered in the second year. So this is the totality is the totality totality.

Paid internship opportunity provided by the college

this alarm COLLEGE and this is the best thing in the government college that they are giving the internships and the regular basis in the stipend at this college is 21,000 around and another college of this university is around 21,000. But the main best part is that will learn about many things like the patient and the feeling and the aura of the patient around us.

Rnt College and the environment is friendly. we talk about the club involvement is very good. Yeah here there are formations of different types of clubs like Bichitra club and all in the club. There are having a different type of activities like those students who are interested in dance can take part in the dance and those who are interested in singing and painting and many more things and cricket badminton and and and it is not that only they are teaching us. They are also organising the different different tournaments on different different times.

Hostel accommodation in the campus

i'm telling the truth. The hostels are not very good as they are as they. This is the government college and you know but the new hostel like here we have JBH new JBH new boys hostel it is very good and rooms are very clean but is not allowed in the first year or not on the second year when you are when you become the senior super senior and the super senior then the hostess allotted

Students view on faculties

first we talk about the NR department the NR department is very strict and the teachers are some good and some are very strict. All are teaching well but in their teaching method some are making fun of studies and some making it is a burden.

The process of admission starts with the college allotment when the college allotted by the NMC. When you fill the Councilling form and then then you go to the JAIPUR or anything when where the universities held their document so I go to Jaipur and I allotted my college and I go to my college and then I have my medical admission and I submit my admission fee and that's how it's work.

RNT Medical College Udaipur Review

Likes

Good Academics including very good laboratories and lacture theatres
City exposure is good as Udaipur is very good city
Good patient flow so lot of practice you can do

Dislikes

No cultural fest is organised from last many years

Admission:

I have chosen these college because it is near to my home. So I am a local boy here all though I was getting AIIMS but not of the top ranks so I left all the other colleges and preferred RNT Medical College for my medical studies. Admission process is through neet exam.

Campus is large enough and hospital bed are 4000 around which is very good for practical knowledge

Dislikes

Infrastructure of rnt medical college is very old type
Classroom aren't good it can be more tech full
There is no playground to play in college

Best Medical city college

Likes

This medical college has great patient load so good to practice.
The city where is college is very beautiful.

Dislikes

The sports facilities are not good the ground for playing is not at all.
The infrastructure is not as much good as other college.
The cultural programs are not held frequently.

Admission:

I choose this college over other colleges because the main reason is the city in which the college exist is very beautiful. None city can match the beauty of the city. The patient load here is very good so that we can practice more and the facilities for the students are also good over other colleges.

Life in Rnt medical college

Admission:

I choose this college as on my time .. in Rajasthan according to my rank i can take any college except Sms jaipur, so i had options of rnt /snmc jodhpur/spmc bikaner and ruhs jaipur ...but my decision is best at that time that i choose rnt udaipur...the reason is clear its a respected college and had the best weather city , udaipur is really too beautiful..try to understand if you gest best college with best city why should you go to other college

About internship and stipend

Likes

College is situated in the city centre so easily approachable
College library and periodical reading room(prr) are really good for personal study session.
Good patient flow as compared to other colleges of Rajasthan.

Dislikes

Infrastructure could have been better like old buildings need renovation

Admission:

Eligibility criteria is to qualify NEET which is organised by NTA every year in month of may. Then after that there's a counselling process where you have to fill the colleges accordingly in manner of your ranking. Then if you get shortlisted in any of the college you can submit your credentials and then you can join that college.

Extracting the darkness of life in college

Likes

College arrange sports week in a year and other so many activities
College have such a big department of each subject

Dislikes

College arranged a picnic in 3 years that is not fair
Principal must be charm to give priority to students than teachers

Admission:

We got the college by national entrance examination test(NEET). 12th pass student is eligible for this. The admission process is very complex because state and national level counselling occur seperately.

Rnt medical college - best in Rajasthan

Likes

Our college is one of the best medical college in Rajasthan infrastructure is well maintained and impressive,providing an excellent environment for both academics and extracurricular activities the library facilities are extensive and well maintained
Campus life - there are many opportunities for outdoor activities with beautiful green spaces and recreational areas

Dislikes

Although most of the things are quite good but you have to buy study material on your own

Admission:

For taking admission you have to clear neet exam with very good marks for general category student the cut off marks is around 655 which keeps on increasing every year. You can take admission via all India quota or if you belongs to Rajasthan then 85% state quota is eligible

Eligibility - minimum 50 % in 12 th board for general category and 40% for reserved category Application form find from mcc.nic.in site Application fee for st sc category is 1600 rs and for OBC general 1700 rs Admission process is okay . but Last time they delayed schedule again again ....so time should fix ...

for MBBS, 10+2 with 50% + NEET is required; for M.D, PG with 50% + NEET PG is required; for the courses, DM, MCH, MD/ MS degree in the concerned discipline, and a Valid score in NEET SS is required; for PG Diploma and MD, MBBS degree with complete one-year compulsory rotary internship and Valid score in NEET PG is required for the admission.
