The choice filling is scheduled from November 8 to November 17, 2024. Candidates can register and fill in their choices online @ mcc.nic.in. The Round 1 Seat Allotment Result will be released on November 20, 2024.

Actually my first preference is madras medical college and second one is Stanley medical College but I'm alloted with my second preference but now I'm proud to say that I'm an stanlian.Oldest college with old atmosphere that's itself inspire u a lot

- This is a Government medical college that only merit students get into so the quality of education is top notch with highly experienced teachers and HODs that are actual Government doctors
- The campus is quite good spacious and they have their own events and fan following and the college name itself carries its own reputation and its the 2nd best medical college in TamilNadu
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is average. The AC doesn’t work all the time and in summers it becomes very tiresome to sit in the classrooms.
- The hostels are also below average in terms of infrastructure. All the buildings are old buildings that need renovation.
Admission:
I applied to Madras medical college and the AIIMS and JIPMER institutes. I also applied and studied for a few weeks at Madurai medical college but i got transferred to stanley medical college because madurai is my hometown and i wanted a change of location and for my marks i could only get into Stanley. I didn't have the marks to join in Madras medical college or AIIMS and JIPMER. The admission to medical colleges in India is based on your NEET scores and I joined my college through the state counselling.

Admission is based on national eligibility cum entrance test(NEET). Ranklists are there put up based on scores in this test. Two counselling session happens. All india counselling and state counseling. Admission is based on this counselling

- While it comes to hospital it has a good infrastructure with a wide variety of equipment

- The place college located is not good which main thing we can see
- As I am coming from out of the state i would feel uncomfortable with this environment and food

You have to write NEET UG entrance exam which is a difficult exam while on other hand competition is rising after scoring a good mark in neet we have to go for a process called counselling in which we have to select some colleges in which we think we will get seat according to our rank after getting alloted in the college we have to go to the college and complete the admission and remaining aspects

- We love the senior junior interactions which is far more better than many of the colleges in our state

- Everything is fine but in summer times we can't tolerate the heat

Stanley Rank second in the list of government medical colleges in tamil Nadu and Stanley Medical College Medical ranking by IIRF is 34 out of 100 colleges in India in 2023 . As it is one of the top institutions the cut off required is high

The first year fee of Stanley Medical College MBBS is INR Eighteen thousand seventy three. The second, third, fourth and fifth year fees are also the same as the first year. The hostel fees has not yet been disclosed.
