Odisha BEd Admission 2025 will be conducted by the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha. BEd is a 2-year undergraduate program for candidates who aspire to become teachers. The entrance exam is conducted in July 2025.

As per the statistics on the official website, Odisha BEd Admission is done for 31 BEd Colleges and there are a total of 2,750 seats in BEd colleges in Odisha. According to the Odisha BEd official website, the Odisha BEd entrance exam 2025 will be conducted online, with English as the medium of instruction.

Odisha BEd Entrance Syllabus

Odisha BEd entrance exam consists of two papers, paper I and paper II. Paper I is compulsory for all candidates and paper II is optional. Paper I consists of general questions related to English language, GK, and logical reasoning. Paper II has more subject-specific questions for Arts and Science steam.

Odisha BEd Entrance Exam Pattern

There are two entrance tests conducted for Odisha BEd Admission 2025. Paper I is compulsory for all candidates and Paper II is optional. The syllabus and exam pattern for the entrance exams is mentioned below.

BEd Qualification in Odisha

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for the Odisha BEd Admission 2025.

  • Candidates must not be older than 28 years while applying for Odisha BEd Admission 2025. The upper age limit for women/SC/ST candidates is 33 years.
  • Candidates must pass a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees in engineering or technology with a specialisation in Mathematics and Science are also eligible to apply. However, they must score a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) to apply for Odisha BEd admission.
