Odisha BEd Admission 2024 will be conducted by the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha. BEd is a 2-year undergraduate program for candidates who aspire to become teachers. The round 4 of counselling process is ongoing for Odisha BEd admission.

Odisha BEd Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for the Odisha BEd Admission 2024. 

  • Candidates must not be older than 28 years while applying for Odisha BEd Admission 2024. The upper age limit for women/SC/ST candidates is 33 years.
  • Candidates must pass a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering or technology with a specialization in Mathematics and Science are also eligible to apply. However, they must score a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) to apply for Odisha BEd admission.

Odisha BEd Seat Reservation Criteria

For Odisha BEd admission 2024, seat reservations are allocated as follows: 

  1. Scheduled Caste (SC) - 16.25% 
  2. Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 22.5% 
  3. Socially and Economically Backward Class (SEBC) - 11.25%
