Punjab BEd Admission 2025 is conducted for admission in government, government-aided and private self financed colleges offering BEd courses in the state of Punjab. The complete Admission Process begins in June 2025 and ends in September 2025. The Punjab BEd Admission is based on the joint BEd entrance exam and centralised Punjab BEd counselling for colleges affiliated to Punjab University, Punjabi University and Guru Nanak Dev University.

To be eligible for Punjab BEd Admission 2025, candidates must secure 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree from any stream. Punjab B.Ed Admission Criteria 2025

  • BEd admission 2025 in colleges affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Punjabi University, Patiala will be strictly based on Punjab BEd CET 2025.
  • The candidates are required to fill out the college and subject choices on the official website. The colleges will be allotted on the basis of a merit list.
  • Working professionals are not eligible for Punjab BEd admission 2025.
  • 15% of seats under all India quotas are subject to admission as per policies laid out by the central government.
  • Preference will be given to the candidate who a) has a higher score in graduation or b) is older in age, if the two candidates score equal aggregate or percentage in the Punjab BEd CET exam.
  • The final admission is based on document verification. Candidates who fail to verify documents or fulfill eligibility criteria as per the norms will lose their seats.

Punjab BEd Application Form 2025

The steps to fill out the Punjab BEd application form 2025 are:

  • Online Registration: The candidate can fill out the basic details such as Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Father’s Name, Gender, DOB, etc, after clicking on the “online registration” link. They can verify their mobile number and email address via OTP.
  • Candidate Login: Candidates shall log in to the dashboard by clicking on “candidate login” and entering their email ID and password. They can then use the links under the dashboard to fill out the application form and pay the application fee via online mode (UPI/net banking/credit or debit card) or offline mode through bank challan at any branch of HDFC bank.
  • Upload Photo & Signature: After the application fee payment, the candidates need to upload their recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned in the brochure.
  • Fill in Academic Details: The candidates are required to fill in the academic details after photo uploading. If the result for any qualifying exam is not declared, candidates are advised to enter “0” under the total marks and marks category.
  • Basic Details: After academic details, candidates are required to fill in the basic details related to their candidature, such as their address, permanent address, domicile, category, etc.
  • Choice Filling & Application Fee Payment: The candidates can choose either of the three options: Regular BEd program, Special BEd program, or both. Depending upon the choice, the candidates will be prompted to pay the application fee via online or offline mode. They will then be directed to print out the application form with a unique application ID.
  • Print Application Form: In case the candidate forgets to take a print of the application form, they can go to the "Print Application Form" link available under the "Candidate Dashboard" area.

Punjab BEd Admission 2025: Merit List

After filling out the application form, the merit list will be issued by the college authority on a particular date. Check out the criteria, based on which the merit list is issued by the Punjab colleges for the BEd courses.

  • The marks candidates gain in the qualifying degree examination.
  • If the college conducts any entrance exam, candidates’ marks obtained there will also be taken into consideration.
