Assam University, Silchar will conduct the Assam BEd Admission 2025. The registration period for Assam BEd is in June 2025. Assam BEd Admission is done based on a state-level entrance exam. The Applications open in June, and the entrance exam is conducted in the month of August.

Assam BEd Admission is conducted by Assam University. The admission is conducted to shortlist the eligible candidates for the 2-year BEd course. BEd is a two-year undergraduate programme in teaching.

Assam BEd Admission 2025: Eligibility

Applicants must check the Assam BEd eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. 

  • Candidates with 50% marks in either bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in science/social science/humanity, Bachelor in Engineering Technology with specialisation in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification.
  • Bachelor/master degree appeared candidate can also fill up the form. They must complete their degree with 50% marks before the declaration of entrance exam result. 
  • Candidates with 50% marks or more in Honours/Major subject but less than 50% overall in all subjects in the qualifying degree are not eligible to apply.
  • Reservation and relaxation to reserved category candidates will be as per the rule of Central Government/State Government.

  • Go to the official website of Assam University.
  • Complete the registration process before filling up the application form. 
  • After the registration process, fill up the application form and provide the asked details like personal details, documents, etc., correctly.
  • Submit & pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
  • Download a copy of the receipt and save it.

Ans. A B.Ed from IGNOU has a similar value to a B.Ed through regular mode. The coursework is almost as taxing as a regular B.Ed. As for recruitment, your teaching skills will matter more than your institution. You can apply for private schools and Govt. jobs. Ans. Doing B.Ed from any university will be helpful if you put in the required effort by yourself. Kalinga University is a valid option for pursuing a B.Ed degree.
