What is the NIOS DElEd Course?

NIOS DElEd program is primarily for in-service untrained teachers working in the primary schools of different states. NIOS DElEd program is developed by the Academic Department, NIOS on the initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, keeping in view the NCF 2005 (National Curriculum Framework), RTE 2009 (Right to Education), and NCFTE 2010 (National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education) act.

I am in arihant college Indore and my yearly fees is around 75000 rupees I am in first year of d.el.ed and this is 2 years course so my total fees of 2 years is around 1.5lakh rupees And scholarship based student is also studied in my college because of this different fees structure for different students based on their numbers

I paid total course fees 80000. In this 1200 is registration fees, 1500 in examination fees and rest is tuition fees. The fees of my batchmates for all categories is also same because RCI decided it equal for all. The yearly fees is 40000 and the course is of two years.

Faculty

The relation of faculty and students is very nice. The faculty members are very friendly with students. The ratio of faculty and students is 2:30. The examination mode is based on paperwork. Nobody is fail in the session.

The curriculum is too long . They need to change their curriculum and in a basic language which is easily understand for every students. Some of students couldn't read well their curriculum. Some faculties need to change thier teaching method. They don't well knowledge that how to behave with every students.

Mostly annual function is held at the end of year. Library is always open for all students but for those who have Library card. The range of books are average not they don't have every all sets of books. Sports and extracurricular activities they have .they arrange every year extracurricular activities.

In the deled general course you have to be minimum 12th pass and if you want to go in teaching field this course specialy for you. This is 2 yead course and exam would be conducted in per year. At the first year you have to complete 24 days internship in govt school and in the 2nd year you have to complete 96 days internship in govt school approved by respective boards.

Many programmes are organised in the campus. Fresher's parties are also organised year by year. Programmes are organised according to events. There are 3 libraries in campus where you can find the books of your needs. Libraries are well furnished and managed. Classrooms aur fully digital. Classrooms have digital boards and projectors. University has 4 pt teachers who will help you in extra cocurricular activities. They will help in each and every sport type. University also participates in social activities like say no to drugs, plant more trees, say no to dowry and many more types of social activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is not too high for courses. It also provides books and uniforms with limited charges. I have completed my diploma in 120k plus 10k other charges At completion of degree you will be charged for degree. As university campus is very big it provides many jobs to locals like security persons and for maintenance of gardens and grounds. Jobs are also provided by canteens. University provides many scholarships to student. most of the scholarships are government provided. These scholarships are mostly provided to needed students.

The internship opportunity is provided by SCERT for each student where college choose and make some groups of students after that they allot a primary School where the students ganna teach for next 2-3 month as a Full time Teachers. In that time we have to do many works like we have to submit different types of reports about the environment of the school, environment of the classes , we have to organize some plays and events like a normal full time Teacher. Also we have to identify problems which students are facing in school,life, learning, health,etc. We organize parents teacher meeting where we interact with parents or suggest them many things about child. And this is an unpaid internship.

Registrations for CTET 2024 exam are ongoing, the last date to apply for CTET is April 2. The exam will be conducted on July 7. Interested candidates can register online for the CTET exam at the official website @https://ctet.nic.in/. CTET comprises paper I and paper II. The application fee for General/OBC(NCL) candidates who want to appear for either paper I or II is INR 1000, for both papers it is INR 1200. Similarly, the application fee for SC/ST/Differently Abled Person is INR 500 (paper I or paper II) or INR 600 for both.

All CTET questions are MCQ-based with 1 mark each for the correct question. There is no negative marking. There are two papers for CTET. Paper I is for candidates who are interested in teaching classes 1 - 5 students, and Paper II is for candidates who are interested in teaching classes 6 - 8 students. Those who want to teach both levels can appear for both papers. Both paper I and paper II duration is two and a half hours and they comprise 150 MCQs each.
