The State Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi (SCERT) is an autonomous government educational institution established in 1988 under the Government of NCT of Delhi. SCERT is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).

SCERT offers full-time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) courses. Admission to the B.Ed. is through the IPU CET while admission of the D.El.Ed. is based on merit through candidates' 10+2 results.

Campus area as it is neat and clean and also faculty they are good
Teaching practice in curriculum as it is very enjoyable when you connect with real students
Time to time events on every occasion as it is very fun

Dislikes

Sometimes Classes held too long in a single day which becomes very tiring
Also there is limited to options to choose in a option subject to study

Scholarships and Fees

Total tuition fees for a year is 44000 in which they also give an installment option plus 1000 rs Registration charge plus 5880 exam fees for first year plus 1550 practical file cost..this make total pf around 52k for one year so the approx fees for total course would be 1 lakh plus snd students have to purchase there books by themselves In first year you have to study 5 subjects(3 compulsory and 2 optional) and 4 subjects of practical each carry 4 credits students can opt for scholarships under SC ST and EWS category

What are the eligibility criteria for B.Ed, and how was your admission experience? How can the process be improved?

Eligibility For B.ed is that a student must have bachelor's degree with aggregate 50% marks from recognised board I have filled the admission form by visiting the college affiliated by SCERT nearby me in July 2023 after in a month my admission got confirmed B.ed is a annual mode program and it is of 2 years and exam held once in a year in june month every year One can opt for scholarships program on the basis of SC ST and EWS category Admission process is smooth but it should also be online for the students who can't come.. currently you can only enroll by going physically there

Why did you choose SCERT's B.Ed program?

I want to do a B.ED And SCERT is a reputed government education institution that's why i have taken the admission here Curriculum the b.ed improves child in 360° as it contains various aspects like child pedagogy, childs psychology and assignment and There is also a teaching practice program at the end of both year of 3-4 weeks where you will go toh your nearby college to educate the students and interact them This practice makes you confident and also prepare you for upcoming challenges Teaching methods are good but in think they should also include this teaching practice in daily classes also where students will teach other students and so on

What events, festivals, and activities take place on campus, and how do they contribute to the student experience?

Festivals and events held time to time on every occasion like independence day, Rangoli day on diwali and also theatre performed by students There is library available inside the campus from where you can borrow book for a specific time period by showing your i card Some webinars also conduct time to time on health and wellness and Growth opportunity After your admission confirmed they make a official group of students and faculties where students can ask any query and they also provide information and update in that group

Eligibility of the course is 12th pass. The application form for this course is available on its website. For admission, an entrance test has to be given. This course can be done in both government and private ways. Government college fees are 20000 and private fees is 75000.

Admission:

For admission, you have to be at least graduated with a 60% aggregate. Then you have to fill IP University application form and give the entrance exam after selection you have to wait for the counseling sessions. Application fees were around 1500 rupees. You will get an 85% reservation if you're from Delhi along with category reservation.

The course curriculum for The Bachelors of education is well prepared. The syllabus was well planned accordingly to the needs and demands of the industries. I enjoyed all my 17 classes I had in a week.
