SCERT Delhi has released the 6th admission merit list for DIET Delhi 2022. The admission lists have been declared for D.El.Ed and DPSE. Students can check the merit list on the official website scertdelhiadmission.nic.in. DIET Delhi Computer Based Entrance Test was conducted on 12 August 2022.
The DIET Delhi is an examination conducted by the SCERT Delhi for admission to the D.El.Ed and DPSE courses, which are two-year diploma courses in elementary education. The Online Admission Form is now available @scertdelhiadmission.nic.in. It is compulsory for all applicants of the course to take the examination. The application mode is online. SCERT Delhi starts registrations process in June. The application fee is 250 INR.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to fulfil a few criteria to sit the DIET Delhi. The criteria are listed below:
- The candidate should have passed 10+2.
- The candidate should have scored at least 50% marks
- For CBSE students, the top five subjects will be considered for calculating marks
- For other boards, one language and the top four subjects will be considered.
- Students from the reserved categories will be given a relief of five percent marks
- During the time of the release of the official notification, the candidate should not be more than 24 years old. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the age limit is 29
- Candidates have to submit a medical certificate of physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner
DIET Delhi Application form
Candidates have to apply for DIET Delhi via the official website of SCERT. Click on ‘Click Here to Apply for Admission’. Then, click on ‘New Candidate Registration’.
- Fill out the registration form.
- Upload scanned images of photograph and signature.
- Pay the registration fee of 250 INR online.
- Fill in your preference of institute.
- Your documents will be verified at the designated centre. At this point, you may address any possible discrepancy in the registration free.
- If a seat has been allotted, you may pay part of the admission fee.
- You have to report to the allotted DIET centre or institute. If satisfied with the given institute, you may freeze your allotted seat.
- The candidate may also take the application form from one of the facilitation centres and submit it with the required information.
- At the time of submitting the form, the following documents will be required:
- Class 10 and 10+2 marksheets
- Birth certificate
- Relevant certificate in the case of reserved categories
DIET Delhi Results
A merit list will be released which will contain the names of the eligible candidates. The list is completely merit-based.
Tie-breaker criteria
In the event of a tie, a candidate will be selected on the basis of:
- Class 10 marks;
- If the tie persists, then the date of birth of the candidates will be considered. The older candidate will get the go-ahead;
- If there is still a tie, the candidate will be selected by drawing lots.
DIET Delhi 2022 Document Verification
The candidates who are mentioned in the merit list have to report for the verification of documents. The candidate has to report physically; if unable to do so, their guardian can report to the Principal of DIET along with a written request from the candidate, along with all the original documents and cause of absence of the candidate. When the documents are verified, they are then considered for final selection. The following documents are required:
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Certificate of reserved or sub-category
- Medical certificate of fitness from a medical practitioner
DIET Delhi 2022 Seat Allotment
After verification of documents, a seat allotment list will be published by SCERT. The candidates can check their registration number, allotted institute and status there. To check allotment results, follow these steps:
- Go to the official website.
- Login by entering your registration number and password.
- Click on the ‘sign in’ button to submit the login details. You will be directed to the page where you can check your allotment result.

DIET Delhi Counselling
The candidates who have qualified the examination have to go for counselling to get admission in a college. Candidates will be given seats on the basis of merit.
The following documents will be required at the time of counselling:
- DIET Delhi DPSE 2020 Admit Card
- 10+2 mark sheet
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Transfer certificate
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Birth certificate
DIET Delhi Reservation
85% of the seats are reserved for those candidates who have passed 10+2 from a school in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The remaining 15% is for candidates who have studied outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidate has to apply to any one of the two categories to avail themselves of the subsequent benefit. There is no need to submit any domicile certificate.
