What are the eligibility criteria for UP DElEd?

The general eligibility parameters for aspirants are

You should have completed your graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. Also, a 5% relaxation is applicable for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backwards Class/Disabled/Freedom Fighter Dependent/Ex-Serviceman (self).
Also, you should have completed their 10th/12th from BSE, UP, Prayagraj/CBSE/ICSE.
The candidate should be between 18 and 35 years of age.
- SC/ST/OBC will get a 5-year general relaxation in the maximum age limit.
- Disabled candidates will get a general relaxation of 15 years.
- For ex-servicemen, the age after subtracting the years of service from their actual age should not exceed the age limit by 3 years.
Permanent residents of UP (If seats remain vacant after 1st round of the selection process, then candidates from other states will be allowed.)

How to Apply for UP DElEd?

To apply for UP DElEd, students have to fill out the form online and pay the required fee depending on their category. However, you should remember that once submitted, you will not be able to edit your application.

Admission Procedure

The merit list will be prepared by the Secretary, Examination Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj, with NIC Lucknow, calculating the coefficient based on the sum of the percentage of high school, intermediate, and graduation examinations mentioned by the candidate in the online application form.
The seat allotment process for the candidates will be conducted in several phases/cycles.
Before filling out the choice of the training institute, it is mandatory for the candidates to make an online payment of INR 5000 as an advance fee to the training institute.
After that, they can select their choice of institutions in order of their preference.
After the allotment of the seat based on merit and choice, the candidate will be charged again INR 5000 as a training advance fee for printing the allotment cum confirmation letter.
The total amount of INR 10,000 (Allotment Fees + Confirmation Fee) paid by the candidates will be adjusted to the institution from their training fee.
Students must complete the admission-related duties from the institute with all the original documents.

Points To Remember

Candidates should not submit more than one application.
In case the candidate submits more than one application and pays the application fee, only the last application will be considered.
During admission, aspirants will be given an undertaking regarding the correctness of the details entered in the application form.
Any mark sheet and certificate issued after the last date of receipt of the application will not be valid.
Students must submit any one of their Aadhaar cards, Voter IDs, PAN cards, Driving Licenses, Passport, or Bank Passbooks with a photo UID as identity proof.
In the counselling process, if a candidate doesn't confirm for the allotted training institute, then the allotment fee will not be refunded.
