Punjab DElEd Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who wants to get admission to the DElEd must read the instructions carefully before filling up the application form. Below are the eligibility criteria to get admission to the course.

A candidate must not be more than 36 years old in the General Category at the time of counseling.
A candidate must have passed the class 10+2 to be eligible for Punjab DElEd admission.
A Candidate must have scored 50% aggregate marks in class 12th.

Punjab DElEd Admission 2024: Merit Criteria

Below are the merit criteria to get admission in DElEd the course.

As per the NCT rules, the candidates of the General Category who obtained at least 5% marks in 10+2 or equivalent will be eligible and 5% relaxation in marks are given to the students.

Seats Intake

As per the policy, 60% of the seats in the private institutions will be filled based on the joint merit through centralized online counseling, and the remaining 40% of seats of management quota will be filled by the concerned institution that is subjected to fulfill the minimum academic qualification.
The private institution will take fees as decided by the fee fixation committee and approved by the Department of School Education Government of Punjab.
