Candidates are selected solely based on their merit marks. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam.

The students who have been selected in the merit list have to appear for offline counseling in their respective colleges.

The students belonging to the reserved category have a relaxation of 5% in the 12th marks during admission. 85% of seats of the state are reserved for students belonging to Jharkhand.
